I have never been one of those fitness device people before but when the option to get this or 256gb sim card for pre-ordering the Note 7, I thought this would be a better option. I have not been dissapointed. Waterproof, shows the time, custom faces, custom notification, heart monitor, syncs with Samsung S Fit. Has a pretty good charge, generally 2 days or so. Charges fast.

The Samsung - Gear Fit2 Fitness Watch + Heart Rate has been a good product, with the exception that the battery is not holding a charge for very long now (I have had it for a year). I have to charge it every day now.

    Very Good Fitness Tracker

I finally upgraded my Fitbit Flex and selected the Gear Fit2 after researching the other, similar fitness trackers on the market. Having several other Samsung products including TV's, tablet and phone I consider their products high end. I am very impressed with the many functions the Gear Fit2 and I like the ability to read text messages on the tracker. My only complaint so far is the screen seems to be easy to scratch. After only a couple of weeks of use, I noticed a big scratch in the screen. Samsung needs to use a Gorilla Glass type of material for the screen. However, this is a very good choice for anyone looking for a high quality fitness tracker.

    Not Sure About This Model

I had the Gear Fit and went in to replace it but they no longer make the Gear Fit so I upgraded to the Gear Fit 2. It is not as user friendly as the original and I still don't know exactly how to work it to its full potential. I do like that if I want to load music on it, I can listen with my Bluetooth headset and not be messing with the phone. After having Fit 2 for several months, it was holding a charge for 2-3 days but now it maybe lasts 12 hours. I did some setting changes this morning so hopefully that works or else this thing is going back and I will get something else. I don't want to have to purchase extra charging stations just to make it through the day.

Watch performs well. Most of the information tracked is useful. I had a mishap with the watch band. I left it on the night stand and my cat decided to chew on it. I had to purchase another band. Could not find a Samsung brand replacement.

Worked as described. However, the snap on it would come off when taking off my jacket and I kept having to re-snap it. Over about a year, the colored pattern on the watch band started to peel off. I took it in to replace it under warranty and talked to the manager about the issue I was having during the winter time with my jacket (I purchased it in the end of March after it was already warm outside), and he let me pay the difference and upgrade to the Gear S3 smart watch. If you don't use a bulky jacket or constantly take it on and off then this should work just fine. I liked it better then my mom's fitbit.

Fitness Tracker & Smartwatch in ONE!

I picked this up when the price had dropped to $149, but it really is worth the regular price as well. I've used Fitbit devices for quite a while, and they are pretty good. But the Fit2 gives you all the benefits of a fitness tracker (including GPS) with the benefit of full notifications (if you want them) as a smartwatch (at least on Android). I've been very pleased.

This is a very complete and useful watch, especially when since with the Samsung app. Only complaint is watch band clasp is a bad design. You can get hundreds of different style replacement bands for under $10 so it's not a big deal.

This is an ideal balance of smart watch and activity tracker. The features blend notifications, gps, activity and lifestyle tracking, even music player into an attractive and comfortable band. Battery life is good, not the 5 or so days of some older activity trackers, but a solid 2 days, with a short charge cycle. This is an excellent product ar a fair price point

Great item, with a great display. This was purchased for my father as a bday present. I really didn't know what to expect, but the integrations between this and his Samsung Galaxy products are amazing. The screen is extremely clear and bright. The only real issue I see with it, is the inability to resize text on the device. Older people have issues seeing the text.

My wife has tried multiple fitness bands, most from the fit brand. All go back within 2 weeks. She's had this one over a month, and loves it! Her's was free with her phone (promo), I bought one too because I liked i so much. I had an original MOTO 360, this is much smaller, fits better & is more comfortable, and the battery lasts 2+ days (not 4 like Samsung claims).

    Gear Fit 2 - Didn't last long

I bought this less than 6 months ago and all of a sudden the face turned black. Even thought it was on and I could feel it vibrate I couldn't see anything. It was showing connected to my S8 and when I attempted to locate it, it vibrated. I turned it off and on. Did all of the troubleshooting techniques I could find. Called Samsung and they told me it was out of warranty and that I would have to pay to get it repaired. Less than 6 momnths and I have to get it repaired. It doesn't get wet other than when I'm working out (sweat) but it does not go in the shower or underwater. Other than that, I loved it. Easy to use.

I've had the Samsung Gear Fit 2 now for a month and it is great. I would give it 5 stars except that the battery life is too short. On average it lasts for about 2 days and that is without any email or facebook notifications.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She is able to answer simple text messages, listen to music and track steps and fitness goals. I wish I would have gotten the same - I got a fitbit 6 months earlier as a gift. This is a superior product.

Great watch! I love the display the best. It is sleek and does everything you could want! My only negative thing it that the clasp is not that secure. I was walking one day and it fell off my wrist and cracked the screen... bummer.

gear fit 2 is better than its predecessor in that it is easier to read. The functions are essentially the same. The band is not as comfortable as the Gear Fit 1 (i think). it syncs better with the software than the Gear Fit 1.
