Everything works great. It doesn't always register when you go up stairs, and it doesn't tell you how many times you wake up at night like the fit bit does but it's a great watch.

This was a freebie with a new Samsung cell phone and a total surprise. Very cool functionality, including step counter, heart monitor and more. Also, very good cell phone app and blue tooth integration. Battery is a little weak and low life, even on power saving, but great since it was free.

This was a belated birthday gift. My wife has a fit bit and wanted me to have one as well. Saw the Samsung product and new it was what I wanted. Easy to use and syncs flawlessly to my phone. Will be buying her one for her birthday so we can take advantage of the "Together" functionality.

I don't really wear watches, or smartwatches however I did give this a try. It came as a free promo with the Galaxy Note7 launch. It's an awesome smartwatch with all the latest fitness features, it was easy to operate and the integration with the phone was flawless. All around solid product.

I really like the screen, and the options to customize the device, and the tracking options it gives you, such as having a built in GPS. That's great for when you walk and run without a phone. However it flat out won't count your steps right. In fact if you only make a few steps it doesn't count them at all. You need to make about 25 to 30 steps before it starts counting. Stop before you hit that number and it discards them all. It also won't count floors right. It says it does so every time you go up 10 feet. My stairs at home are more than 10feet, and yet most of the time it doesn't give me my flights. I started wearing a fit bit as well to check the differences, and I'm finding the two are off be about 2,500 to 3,000 steps per day. I watch the fitbit as I'm walking and it counts every single step. The Fit2 does not, and is about 3,000 steps less at the end of the day. So looks alone do no good, as the device can not perform it's core function, that of counting your steps. I've also had the device reset numerous times, and even replaced it with another one from Best Buy, and it still gives the same problem. I won't be buying another Samsung fitness product again because of this.

The program was easy to read and follow. I like the different tracking devices that comes with it. Very happy with the product and I'm glad I picked this one over the others.

I got mine on sale to replace my fitbit blaze as the battery life went from good to horrible. I find this device measures my activity better than my fitbit and works very well with the samsung health app. I might not have purchased if not $50 off but I am very glad that I did.

Really like the watch. I gust wish the battery would last longer. If you keep they Bluetooth disconnected and only sync it once or twice a day it will last more than 24 hrs.

The Gear Fit2 has been great so far. I use it on my morning runs and no longer need to bring my phone along. It measures distance and heart rate and syncs with my Samsung phone after I am finished. I really like the band as it is easy to put on and take off with one snap.

I had the gear fit, but when I updated my phone- I was given the gearfit2 free. The gear fit2 is much better than the original bc it's easier to charge and the band has a loop to ensure it doesnt pop off the features are easy to utilize as well. The charge on it lasts about 3-5 days.

    Pebble is Better

My Gear Fit 2 has outstanding graphics and a bright easily read screen, but that all comes with a price. The battery requires re-charging about every 36 hours, so the watch is off of your wrist very often. I have an earlier model of the Pebble watch..its display and graphics can not compare with the gear Fit 2, it is worth a consideration. It allows the wearing to respond to text messages by talking into the watch, not selecting from a list of pre-programmed responses. The Fit 2 is fun, but lacking alot.

It does everything the description says it does. I have a Samsung phone so that helps with the experience. Not sure how well it works with a non-Samsung phone though.

Tried all tech watches. The Gear 2 by far beat all others for heartbeat accuracy and comfort while biking and running. Activity data auto downloads to my Sumsung phone.

    Good Decent Fitness Tracker

I started out liking this fitness tracker quite a bit. It had a nice display, even if the aspect ratio was awkward. I wanted to use it to track my exercises, especially elliptical training. Here's my impressions of the device: As a smart watch (okay, not really a smart watch, but it has some features): - Good notifications system, I can get notified of calls, messages, etc. - Good decent selection of watch faces. A lot of custom faces are available in the store. I am very picky about what I like, so I consider there are a lot of junk faces out there, especially when developers are charging a single purchase for one particular color only. Sleep Tracking - It does a good job of notifying me every morning of my sleep progress. It doesn't show me until much later in the day, so I'm not sure why the long delay. You really need to check on your phone though to get a good picture as it only shows you your last sleep on the device (if you wake up in the middle of the night for example). - Honestly, after using it a little, I don't really care about checking my sleep. I guess it's useful if you really need it for some medical reason. - Alarms worked great to get me out of bed though. Alarms on your Samsung phone will also trigger your Gear. Fitness: - Does not track elliptical exercises like you'd think. Basically it only knows how long you worked out, but not how many strides you do. I had a Fitbit Blaze before that tracked your strides as a step, so, I guess it depends how you want to use it. - I also always felt that the calories estimated is off, compared to my machine, so I can't tell which is the more accurate one. The Gear definitely always shows much less (e.g., calories burned). Build: - So, it lasted for half year before the band broke. The plastic that holds the clip to the band broke by itself when I was cleaning it. Seems the plastic doesn't last long over time. Be sure to get a protection plan if you plan on wearing this daily.

I never have used a fit product, so when I was looking for one, this Samsung Fit2 got my attention because of the design, the app (so easy to use), and the compatibility with my Samsung Galaxy. The thing that got me the most is that you can change the watch face, so smart.
