I'm happy but......
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung gear fit 2 works very well and my wife and I have enjoyed using it. We are not triathlon people so this suits our need. We have gotten a lot of compliments on it and people were very interested after I showed them how to use it while wearing it and using the app. I have to say the blue tooth is fantastic. I was in the basement and it told me I had a call coming in while my phone was upstairs. One problem is the watch strap, it will unsnap and the gear fit 2 will fall off your wrist. I need to get a band that goes over the strap to keep it secure. The design by Samsung missed the mark. Also the battery does not last what they say 4-5 days. If you use this with your email and text the battery lasts 1 - 1 1/2 days. I guess I have to figure what I really need to track so as not to drain the battery. Other than that its great...

Good watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am impressed with this watch. It tracks a host of things and is easily configurable to show a slew of notifications. Also shows text messages and allows you to receive or reject calls. Battery life could be a little better. Mine lasts about 2 days.

Better for workouts rather than day to day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a few days but really like the fit2. The band is comfortable. I have a 7 edge so it links to that nicely. My only complaint is the battery life doesn't last long if it's not in power saving mode. Would definitely purchase another.

Love It!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch. It does everything I was hoping for. It does everything the other trackers do but it has a much better screen with great color and images. I have a Samsung phone and it pairs great. I can pick the apps I want to get notifications for on my watch. I can event preview my picture text messages. I only have two minor complaints. First, is the way the watch secures to your wrist. It is not a good design but had read about it from others and purchased some little black bands on Amazon to further secure and it was an easy fix. Second, I don't think the charger stops charging when the battery is full and I know this can be bad for the lifetime of the battery. It seems like since you are using the factory charger, it should know when the battery is full and stop charging but it doesn't.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been a month now using this device. It is very nice and comfortable device. I am moving this this device from the fitbit flex bands. Here are my thoughts: - A whole lot more comfortable than the Fitbit., - Sharp, bright, colorful screen. - Excellent response and accuracy,. - Very easy to use, quick set up, - Very reasonable price. Overall, I love this wearable.

Great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been loving the Gear Fit 2 these past few weeks. The gps worked great and documented trails and distances very well while hiking, the heart rate monitor always can get my heart rate, and so far is quite accurate. The previous gear fit i enjoyed but it had a hard time picking up your pulse most of the time. The screen is beautiful and ui is nice and smooth. Definitely recommended

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gear fit2 works very well keeps track of my steps very nicely. The heart monitor is correct. I tested it against the heart monitor at rite aid. The different watch faces some are free some you pay for but enough different faces.

Fitness app has limited options
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You almost have to have one of Samsung's phones to use this tracker to its full potential. You can use it as a fitness tracker no problem, but getting the app it syncs to to run on anything else is a pain in the rear end. Still, once it's paired up it's a great little device. I mostly need the app at work so I can set my alarm to let me know when it's time to wrap up for lunch or the end of my shift... easier with this than pulling out my phone to check the time constantly, and I can set as many alarms as I need throughout the day on the phone; no need to change the setting after it goes off. My biggest problem is the time on the device doesn't seem to stay up-to-date when I set it to power saving mode... and if I don't use power saving mode, the battery will die in me in a couple of days if I forget to recharge it.

Not Sure About This Model
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Gear Fit and went in to replace it but they no longer make the Gear Fit so I upgraded to the Gear Fit 2. It is not as user friendly as the original and I still don't know exactly how to work it to its full potential. I do like that if I want to load music on it, I can listen with my Bluetooth headset and not be messing with the phone. After having Fit 2 for several months, it was holding a charge for 2-3 days but now it maybe lasts 12 hours. I did some setting changes this morning so hopefully that works or else this thing is going back and I will get something else. I don't want to have to purchase extra charging stations just to make it through the day.

Best Fitness tracker I have owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the original Gear fit. I upgraded to the Gear 2 Neo, then I upgraded again to the Gear Fit 2. The Gear 2 Neo would occasionally freeze up and need to be restarted. This new Gear Fit 2 has worked flawlessly. It is also much more comfortable to wear than the Neo. The GPS is an awesome addition. Now I can use this when I go on a bike ride to track my route as well as speed, calories burned and heart rate. You can also use the GPS for activities like walking and running. This tracker gives extremely detailed information on all activities I have used it for. It tracks my sleep automatically without a hitch. It will sync with any Android device running 5.0 or higher. For $179, I can't see why you would buy anything else.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The pro is that the features matched the price. Quick to charge, so can wear all day, then get sleep info, too. Steps and knowing the workout intensity seem accurate. Cons include the stair counter never gives me full credit. Messages arrive late with samsung app, and ok with verizon. I am constantly hitting the wrong reply for messages as I scroll to find the reply I want to send. Wish it had changeable bands, because I don't like how sweaty it gets, even when not working out. Also, I can't answer the phone and say "I'm on my way" because there is no speaker. I am happy with it for the price I paid, but next time will spend a little more to get all the features I want.

Spectacular fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung has done a great job with this watch. It's easy to use, easy to read, and allows the user many custom options. I've used this watch for 4 months now and it has been a big help in tracking my steps, workouts, and reading text messages on the go. Its durable and has held up to some pretty good abuse from daily use and yard work.

Almost Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fit2 is almost the perfect tracker the only two major complaint is it can't sync to other fitness applications like a fitbit can and battery life. But I do love the built in GPS , onboard storage, and the gorgeous display.

Good unit when linked to your phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good unit when linked to your phone via Bluetooth. Free is always nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for free when I purchased the note 7. I'm not really into this type of devices. This is the first time i used something like this and I must say. It goes well with a Samsung device. Tells you the time, step, h2o and all that. Notifications is a plus. Now i can track my steps when I'm mowing the yard and steps from my car to the office. Lol

Good features, bad battery, charger and strap.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought in Nov 2017. The battery, with all features on, won't last more than a day. (Maybe three days max. with all power consuming features disconnected). The dock charger frequently failed to charge, two dots on the watch should touch two pins on the dock, but quickly became faulty, needed several intents to connect. The strap lock is very soft and frequently opens. The strap connections to the watch body began to break after this first year. Features are good, but overall, there are better products than this one.

Very Happy with the Gear Fit2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at a lot of fitness watches for a much higher cost but this one seemed to have all the features I wanted and great ratings for less money. Have had it for about a year now and am still glad I went with this one. Having GPS and WiFi built-in are extra bonuses. A great watch and more.

Excellent device for exercise and time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find this to be a very well constructed device. I love that I can connect to my phone with it (email alerts, caller recognition and the ability to answer or ignore the call) as well as step tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate, etc. The ability to download from a wide variety of of watch faces too keeps this fun and interesting to wear.

Device was great, until it broke. Not built well.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The came free with the Note 7 which was forcibly taken away from me. While the device was working it did much more than the Gear s2 by accurately tracking sleep and elevation. However after 6 months of light use the band literally broke off and the device fell off my wrist onto my bed while getting ready. The clamping area of the band broke on it's own and Samsung will not warranty it. They want to charge me $15 to ship to them and then it could be up to $100 to repair a free device. I could not purchase the Geek Squad Protection because it was a free item. I understand it was free but I expect the item to last at least a year and then if it doesn't have the manufacturer actually honor the warranty.
