Good watch with good features. Only negative is that the battery does stay charged as long as previous version of the same watch. What do you expect with more features and approximately the same size?

This gearfit2 is super easy to set-up. Samsung.com has perfectly detailed instructions. You can add as much as you like for notifications and removing them is super easy. It's a great way to track my daily fitness.

I researched long and hard to find a watch/fitness tracker. I really wanted a waterproof one but was not willing to shell out over $300 so i settled on this one. It is water and sweat resistant but i wouldn't wear it swimming. I liked that i can connect super easy to my Samsung Galaxy s 8 plus. This little thing has alot of functions. I really only use a few though. the find my phone option is nice because i lay my phone down in all kinds of places in my large home. It will make the phone ring as loud as possible until you find it. It also will give you an address of where your phone is. Obviously I wanted a watch, thats pretty straight forward. You can change the background on the watch face, wich is cool but thats about it. I use the exercise tracker for the gym.you can switch between many different types of exercise if you program it with your age and weight it will give you an accurate calorie burn.i also like to know when my heart rate gete to a good cardio rate. This is excellent for that. You can take your bp with the touch of a button. You can connect remotely to your phone and read your texts on it also. Thats very helpful when your in a workout and can't get to your phone. It says there is an option to reply but ive yet to figutre that out. You can load music to it so you do not need your phone on a run or whatever. Downside.... it doesn't support audio books. I dont listen to music during my workouts. I listen to books so i still have to take my phone. if you talk with your hands like i do the pedometer wont be accurate. It is very sensitive. It has other thing that i dont use like a program to workout with friends connection. Im a lone wolf so idk how good that is.the floors/stairs doesnt work well it has a hard time distinguishing flat or incline. I cant say much more. There is still alot i haven't figured out yet. Still a good item.

I love the colourful screen display and it has the GPS tracker which makes it the best product in the market. Floor counter does not work since last app update. Other then that, it's a great product.

This watch is great. It pairs easily with my HTC phone and I am able to receive and respond to texts. The fitness functions all work well except the floor tracker isn't accurate for me. I would highly recommend this watch for a budget conscious person looking for a fitness tracker that handles notifications as well.

I saw this and got very excited. It was almost to good to be true, a fitness watch with gps, heart rate and stand alone MP3. Works great for everything it does. GPS picks up further than you have gone which isn't a big deal but what is a huge deal is the battery is terrible in it. I cant run more than 7 miles with out the watch completely being dead. Really disappointed when it had such potential.

I love the fact it has a GPS on it and that it has 4 gigs of memory so I can put music on it and use it when I'm exercising. the only downfall to it is it has a short battery life and that the range of the Bluetooth is not as good as earlier version was. it's really neat that I can change to lots of different watch faces. It's very comfortable to wear and feels very secure on my wrist. its water resistant unlike the first one where you couldn't get it wet or shower with it on.

I was looking for an activity tracker with some smart watch features and this fits the bill perfectly. Light weight, has GPS for running without the phone on you, and battery life is decent when you tweak the settings. OS was improved with updates, such as continuous HR. Great for people with Samsung phones!

this is a good watch,, fits perfectly.. it even keeps track of my sleep that was a surprise.. however i only gave it a 4 star as its partially compatible with iOS. i wish they make products that are open and not just stick to one platform. i don't know the behind the scenes,, may be Apple doesn't want to let Samsung in,, could very well be the case. anyways for all its issues, its still is the best bang for your buck.. Fit-bit is over-hyped and overpriced.

I have the classic s2 with the rotating bezel. I expected this to look cheaper construction wise but it was also restricted in what it could do. You could not install any apps on it so it was extremely limited. I rated it so high because this was a present for someone who had no experience with the higher rated watch and was also more interested in the health tracking features more than anything. I can so that I highly recommend the additional warranty. If you crack the face of the watch, samsung doens't have to replace it or even fix it but best buy will. We had an issue with her charger not working ordered a new charger and it worked fine after that.

Had to Return the First One, Love it Now Though!

I had to return the first one because it kept powering off by itself and eventually it didn't power on. This occurred about a week after I purchased it. I exchanged it for a new one without issue at the Greece, NY store and have been impressed with it ever since. It has helped me to be more active by setting goals and seeing progress throughout the day. This, combined with the Samsung S-Health app, has even helped me to lose a few pounds so far by helping me track my physical activities along with my calorie intake for the day. I've also used the integrated music player along with bluetooth headphones for running without the phone. It was nice not having the phone in an armband during the run. All in all, I'm pretty happy with gear fit 2 even though the first one was a lemon...which is why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5. Also, the band went on sale 3 weeks after I purchased it and the difference was refunded when I went to the store. I overall had a good experience at the store between the exchange and price drop refund.

I've had the Gear Fit2 for almost a year now and still loving it. I like the GPS feature, so I can see where I've walked and how far. I'm able to track my steps, see text msg images, listen to music, customize the menu of items I want to see, different gym machine progress etc. The fit is comfortable around my wrist, the display is easy to see, the charge is good for 2-3 days. Be sure that you keep the charging contacts on the back clean especially if you use lotion or any type of oils because they may interfere with the sensors. It pairs well with my Samsung Health. The number of floor indicator isn't accurate and needs improvement.

Replaced my original Gear Fit. This one is way more comfortable, does sleep tracking automatically. Great as remote with Spotify on the Samsung Note 5. Notifications come up right away and easy to read. Charger is great, magnets snap on easy. Charging is fast, by the time I'm done showering/hair/makeup, it's back to 100%. I do miss the speaker, to find it. Answers the phone from quite a ways.

    Pretty Disappointing

I already had a Gear S2 but I decided to purchase the Fit 2 because I liked the look of it and I thought it would be less cumbersome on my wrist than the S2 and it also had a floor count and a sleep tracker that the S2 didn't have. The Fit 2 is attractive and comfortable but doesn't live up to many product claims, most notably the three day battery life, I'm lucky if I can squeak a single day out of it. Also, it claims to be water resistant but my screen developed a line of discolored pixels down the center. I sent it in for a warranty repair and the explanation given was "Corrosion, liquid damage". The product was only used well within the parameters that Samsung claims as "water resistant" The floor count also seems off, I've gone up and down stairs at work without a flight ever being registered but climbing a couple of sand dunes counted as 94 floors, climbing sand dunes is a workout but I don't think it is THAT much of a workout. The S2 is a far better device.

I purchased my Samsung Fit Gear 2 after my previous tracker (fitbit) stopped working. It is such a GREAT item! So far, I'm impressed with all of the features, but even more so with the control I have to manage the tracker. Don't want to receive email notifications? You don't have to! Want to monitor and log your caffeine intake? You can! I am having so much fun with all of the features, and can't find anything about this product that I don't like. It's got a sleek, low profile design and seems to be far more accurate than my previously owned fitness tracker. I have to disclose though, we are a Samsung loyal family...we tend to really like everything they make!

I had been looking for a good fitness band that has multiple options. This one cost more than I wanted to spend and just as much as some of the fitbits. In just 2 days I came to love this band. It's multi functions let me know steps, sleep, heart rate, floors climbed, water n caffine consumption and a few other ones. It also can let me send a quick text in response to a phone call. There are a lot of free and paid watch faces, so it doesn't get boring. I wish the battery charge would last a little longer. I average about every three days. It's good to get a watch face with a battery indicator so it doesn't die on you. All in all its is a great little gadget.

I like everything this watch has to offer except that in order for the GPS tracking to work while running or biking and such you have yo have your phone with you. It is not a stand alone GPS system as advertised. If you don't care about that then this watch is perfect. You can load 4gb of music directly on the device which is great for things like cutting the grass or doing a workout in the gym where you dont need gps. The battery life varies. I usually have to charge once every other day. I get a lot of text message notifications why may have something to do about it. The book says it will last 4 days but i guess that is if tou dont have any notification pushes to the device. I just charge it while in the shower after working out or if I am just sitting watching tv. Takes about an hour to get a full charge from the single digits of life.

I wanted a fitness tracker primarily to count my steps to keep me motivated to taking 10,000 steps a day as recommended by my doctor. This took more conditioning than I thought... the Gearfit 2 helped me ease into this by allowing me to set increasing goals and encouraging me keep it up. I'm very pleased with its ability to measure my heart rate automatically and on demand. Monitoring my sleep has provided interesting insight into my sleep patterns, I like seeing how far I've walked and the calories burned as the day progresses. I find the wrist band very comfortable and I like that I can wear the device in the shower and while swimming.

i´m an apple user but the a bestbuy seller recommened this watch, he said it was the best in market, even can sync with iphone but that was not true. can be paired with no samsung phones but not apple devices, so i wear it for excersising but i can download apps. two contras: no work with apple devices and the battery doesn´t long too much, even if it is on battery safe mode. great resolution, with gps for a low cost
