I inherited the Gear Fit one from my son. Decided to upgrade to Gear Fit 2. Other than better bluetooth compatibility with my S8+, and increase in memory to 4GB, not much of an upgrade in my opinion.

A device this well put together could have been so much better, had Samsung been a little more generous with the feature instead of limiting them do to the fact that its one of their low end devices. This device does what it does very well. Having said that, its really sad that it has no built in mic for message response or voice controls. Or only collects metadata from ONE & ONLY ONE music app. Not everyone uses Spotify. It is in desperate need of an update. Unfortunately, that's not something I this will ever happen. Is this better that the average activity tracker. It you want a big beautiful AMOLED screen... yes. If you are just concerned with tracking your exercise progress... no. Save some money & get a Vivofit.

Great little watch. Get about 2 days of battery life between charges. Like the fitness features of it. Customizable watch faces are cool as well. Nice to see messages on watch so big don't have to dig my phone out of my pocket while I'm doing construction work.

Very good watch for the price. I downloaded new watch faces and very happy with it.

Works perfectly. It has multiple features and you can customize the screen. Very helpful when at work when you can't use your phone to see who is calling, I can look at my fit2 and see if it is important or not. I have been wearing my fit 2 almost 24 hours a day, the only time it comes off is to take a shower and at that time I put it on the charger. By the time I get done it is charged back up again.

Kinda wary on these now considering my 1st GearFit 2 lasted only a week out of warranty. Bought this one to replace and after two weeks it would reboot and re-update. Returned for newer version.

I like the fact that it knows when you're sleeping and you get your notifications :)

Bought this as a gift. He loves that it does everything the Fit Bit does and more.

Best hardware for fitness band to date (I've had fitbit, garmin, msft band, nike fuel, jawbone). screen is gorgeous and fits my wrist perfect (although some have complained about clasp issues). they just released IOS support which is great, but app features significantly lag the Android app. also, accuracy is not great. I've found step counting to be accurate, but heartbeat is off when doing physical activity (not resting), GPS is not accurate (typically 10% off). does a good job of automatic sleep detecting and automatic workout detecting. also, the lack of apps is quite bad ... Hoping that Samsung will address fixes this year, unfortunately their track record on this sort of stuff is not good.
