I was happy with the way they worked when I got them. They just decided one day that they were gunna be very quiet. I try turning them up full volume and I can barely hear the music. I am very upset with the quality of this product for the price they should have lasted alot longer than 3 months.

I can see a lot of thought went into this product. The problem I am having is that the volume is inadequate. The gear app volume is at max as is the phone app. Is there a fix for this? The best thing about these is they really stay in my ears. I love them...Just turn up the volume!

The headset didn't pair with the phone. Best Buy only support you if if purchase their warranty. Since 15 days past when I contacted Best Buy they told me to contact the manufacturer for the warranty. I'm in the process of shipping it to Samsumg and wait for a new one!

I regularly work out at the YMCA and have been on the lookout for a solid set of earbuds that match up well with that. My normal go to earbuds have been wired Yurbuds, but I get frustrated when the wire binds up while working out and gets yanked out of my ears, or pulls my phone out of my pocket. In the past I have tried some blue tooth headphones that have a wire between the right and left earbud, but those run into the same issue as the wire gets caught up in my shirt collar and get pulled out. These headphones are wonderful and I wish I ran into them years ago! I will do my best to give my honest review on them. Packaging: Professional. Nice and compact, not a lot of wasted space. What you would normally expect from Samsung. Product Quality: A+. Earbuds are built from solid hard plastic. They look to be built to last and without having to worry about damaging wires, I expect that they would. Most of my headphone in the past die from wire or connector damage. Fit: Once again the product exceeds expectations here well. Just from looking at the picture I wouldn't have though they would work very well, but they fit very snug. I have not had any issue yet with them falling out during any of my work out or cardio. They also come with different sizes of wings and tips for different fits. Look: These things fit well in the ear, and don’t stick out much at all. They look good as well. I have gotten quite a few compliments about them and questions based off how they look. Sound: For those who are audiophiles, these headphones are probably not for you. That's not to say the sound quality is horrible, on the contrary the overall sound quality is good, with bass that is there but not overpowering. I can put them on and enjoy the tunes. I have not experienced any sound distortion or sync issues that I have read being reported on other wireless brands. Battery Life: This is the one area it where the headphones leave you a little disappointed. They fully live up to the advertised battery life. 3 hours if you’re playing from the built-in storage, or 1.5 if your streaming. Of course, for the purposes of working out and running, this works just fine. The case itself also has a built-in battery that will recharge the cases while they are resting in it. So, after you work out, you pop them back in the case and they are good to be used again. Touch Controls: The basic controls are straight forward and easy to use. The touch pad on the earbuds are very responsive and in some cases, seem a bit too sensitive. I have found plenty of times that during a workout that i stop the song instead of turning the volume up, Whoops! The controls do seem to work well for apps as well. I tend to use IHeartRadio and the basic start/stop/next track touch controls do work. Music Player: Very basic functionality here, which I do hope they improve on. As typical you do need a software program to upload the music to the IconX, in this case the Samsung Gear IconX Manager. I do love this feature as I can load up all my workout tunes and just leave my phone at home. My only wish here is that they build in a playlist functionality. Overall I think they did right with this product and I am fully enjoying being wireless! If you are looking for a solid pair of earbuds for working out I would recommend giving these a consideration.

Returned to store. Didn't like difficulty in touch pad

Talk time is only 3 hours and less watching videos on youtube. One of my earpieces when charged the light continuously flash red. The tap control on the earbuds are annoying a slight touch or move and its doing something else or disconnect the line.

It worked for 1 day, sound quality was just so so, I only used 1 to start. Someone bumped into me it fell out. We searched for days, never found. The other one was useless because we had designated the 1st one the main one and now it was gone.

Consistently lost Bluetooth connection. Would pause music on their own. The touch pads were terrible. Frankly, one of the worst pair of headphones I have ever owned. I returned them and got the Bose Soundsport Wireless which I Love.

I bought these prior to getting the Apple AirPods. I should have read more about what you WONT be able to do if you have an iPhone. Not a fan of the fit in the ear, felt like I was sticking a large rubber Qtip in my ear.

Best Buy employee told me I "had to try these!" Failed to tell me that they were for a samsung and not an iPhone. Seemed like they could be great for a Samsung but not for my iPhone. Returned them a weeke later.

I have been using/testing the Samsung Gear IconX wireless earbuds for about a month now. I love these things and they have made my walking activity much more enjoyable! While the earbuds are primarily pushed as fitness headphones, they work well as a mobile music player. The charging case can hold up to 1,000 songs. I have about 120 songs that I've downloaded to the device which a lot more space available. I was able to charge and use the earbuds out of the box. They come with additional tips to adjust for a more comfortable and snug fit. Whether it's walking or doing crunches and lunges, the earbuds stayed put. The touch controls took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of the pressure I applied to the touch pad it was a breeze. I like being able to switch through songs without feeling as though my workout activity is being majorly interrupted. There is great sound quality coming through. I am not a fan of the ambient sound feature. When on, there seems to be too much extra noise and I can hear every step I take or move I make. It was somewhat annoying so I do not use that feature, but can still hear my surroundings without it being turned on. I use the earbuds in conjunction with the Gear Fit2 so I have not primarily used them for the fitness tracking aspect. However, the one time I did use it for this purpose, the tracking seemed to be accurate so I have no complaints. However, using the Gear IconX with the Gear Fit2 is a great pairing. I've also used the earbuds as my wireless headset for my office phone that utilizes VoIP software through the computer. A quick connection to the Bluetooth and I can enjoy music without disturbing others in the office and still get phone calls that come through. Another great feature that I've enjoyed! I would recommend these to anyone looking for a decent quality, cord-free earbud to use with any type of exercise or other activity when one wants to listen to music and/or track their physical activity.

Purchased these earbuds and within 3 days they were not working properly. Now I see the reviews from others about the same issue. Returned and purchased a different brand that work great.

This is not my first true wireless headphone but I must say this beats out my previous set. First, the fit is just perfect and the looks is great. Samsung did a phenomenal job on this headphone. The sound is well balance and doesn't require any equalizer at all. I listen to all sort of type of genre of music and so far they all sounded fairly well. The isolation is also great and there's an option from outside ambient to be heard for safety precautions. As far as the ease of use of this device, there is no buttons. Just place the earphone into your ears and it turns on automattically. I am a huge Apple product fan but I think Samsung has gain my respect for them. This headphone truly rocks!!! The only negative which isn't much of an issue is the battery life. For streaming from the phone is 1.5 hours and 3 hours from the device itself. But if you can get around this minor issue, you will enjoy this device. The most important to consider here is the convenience. Ignore the little issues and enjoy this new technology. I am sure second generation will come sooner enough.

After using them for about a week I am pleased with their build quality and ease of use. The major drawback I have noticed with them is the battery life. I understand however that with their size and portability plus being truly wireless you have that tradeoff. Syncing was very easy, all I had to do was open the app and pull them out of the cradle and the step by step process just worked. The controls were simple and worked as expected. I was a bit hesitant about how well that would work but the controls were simple enough that I was able to utilize all of the functionality flawlessly. I really like the ability to have the passthrough functionality which is something I feel my Jaybird Bluebuds lack. I have used them in the office when I needed to focus on things and then turned it on when I needed to interact. I have also used it when going to the mall, I was able to interact with people without having to take them out which was nice. Wearing the Icon X while at the gym and even while mowing the lawn was where these shine. Although I sweat a lot They fit securely in my ear and I have never had them fall out which is something I was worried about after hearing about the Apple Ear Pods. Apple could take a lesson from Samsung on these things. The coolest feature these have is the workout mode. Once you activate it, the ear pods begin recording everything from distance to speed and syncs all of the data to your S Health app on your phone. This gives you a sense of accomplishment once you are done working out. Knowing what you have achieved and hearing it rather than just seeing it in the app really makes the workout more valuable. My recommendation on these is that they are a buy. I would definitely recommend them for someone looking for a device that will help them with their fitness goals, enabling them to enjoy working towards those goals.

Not one of my better purchases and I bought two pair SMH and the cost was ridiculous doesn't live up to the hype

It needs work I don't thing Samsung have it yet. Good luck on your next one. I will try the next model after this one to see if improve, improve the brand but not this product.

I had to return these headphones after spending 1 hour with a Samsung specialist at Best buy. I brought the Jawbra wireless headset it costs more but it works perfectly.
