On the contrary it works better than one could expect. It has a slight magnetism that keeps the watch stuck to it. I wish it charged a bit faster but I know it will payoff in the long run for keeping the watch maintenance free.

Best charging platform for this watch

Beware: this includes platform only, no AC or charging cables included.

They are not mix and match. The watch charger won't charge the phone, the phone charger won't charge the watch. But it is so cool to have the watch and the phone charge in these stands without having to plug in a MicroUSB plug.

It is well worth the cost since trying to figure out why I can go 12 hours one day and only 6 the next can drive you nuts. If I worked at a desk all day, I'd have one there too.
