That has to be purchased separately which the packaging did not express, I didnt find out until I bought it and opened it.

Called Samsung support with no idea on how to obtain the micro USB cable from them as well. Purchased as a gift.Told the recipient that the cable did not come with the charger. You can purchase from Samsung directly but will have to pay for shipping as this product does meet the minimum $50.

Changed my whole outlook about them.

I'm sure if I had the Gear 3 this would work fine. Had to give it two stars because I was misled into purchasing it.
