A little over a year and still going strong and writes fairly fast

These work well on computers that have gotten very slow, due to old platter type hard drives. This can make a computer that's almost unusable into a very good computer. I've had very good success with them. You simply use Samsung magician to clone the old drive and them replace the old drive with this one.

I have used PNY, Kingston, LiteOn, and few other off brand SSDs and always come back to Samsung EVO. I love the Samsung Magician software that allows you to monitor the drive health and performance a well as allow you to use system memory as a cache to speed up performance and set overprovisioning to reserve part of the drive capacity as unpartitioned space to help extend the life of the drive. It doesn't hurt to be able to get these drives at a greatly reduced price through Best Buy Geek Squad as reconditioned drives. Out of the 7 drives I have purchased this way, from 500GB to 2TB, all have had extremely low hours of use with no bad sectors and have performed exceptionally well. I will continue buying the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Samsung EVO drives either until they are no longer made or I convert to M.2 after which I will probably also choose the Samsung drives.

Everything seems to work just like my brand new one. It was a good bit cheaper to buy refurbished. Hopefully it'll continue to function as well as it is now.

Usually not a fan of purchasing refurbished items, but this proved me wrong. Got this in great condition and works great after using it extensively.

Have purchased two of these recently as outlet drives, diagnostics show 99-100% good in all sectors and for speed, great buy.

We bought 2 of these "Certified Refurbished" Samsung drives. We have bought and used several NEW 870 EVO drives. The first one we used worked just like new. It cloned well using CloneZilla and it worked just great. The 2nd drive (using the same software) failed due to the number of "had sectors" detected, so we returned it to Best Buys, but it wasted much time for the money saved. So best to buy new when it counts!

works perfectly as expected like it was barely even used. the packaging/shipping did leave something to be desired though as the boxes were just out and about all over the place and the product packaging itself was damaged in shipping

Great price for what you get. Highly recommend for backup storage. I currently use these as backup recording for my Hyperdeck Studio 4K Pros. Perfect capacity and performance for the price.

Crystaldisk info showed 100% health originally, although 99% followed soon after. Only reason for it to not be a 5 star because it was a quicker than expected degradation as opposed too the other SSD's I've owned. But props where it's due, it was hardly used when I received it and I haven't run into any issues with it a month later. Great value for a solid product.

Bought a refurbished Samsung drive with free overnight shipping to replace a 10 year old HDD. Item appears brand new. Samsung Magician showed under 100GB of data written to the drive. Used the Magician software to migrate the HDD data including Windows 10 to the SSD.

not sure if buy new or refurb. but no regret so far.

For the price it's worth it works like a brand new one I highly recommend it just don't use it as a boot device if you are building your own gaming PC/PC I just use it to store files etc

This SSD is very nice for the price. I ordered the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished version, It was basically new! If you use the "Samsung Magician" software you can clone a Hard Drive in under an hour. I would suggest you buy this brand but only buy Geek Squad Certified Refurbished.

This had only had less than 100 GB written on it when I received it, and it has worked perfectly. No flaws according to my disk analyzer software. I've purchased a few of these refurbished Samsung SSDs now, and they all are working fine. (The 1TB 870 EVO SSDs are good for 600 TB written according to the specs.)

Easy hook up and cloning with software (not included). Runs well and the price is the best around.

Had good luck with this drive, appeared to be in close to new condition. Only about 90GB written to the drive when received, according to Samsung Magician. Would try again!

Pretty fast and lots of room. Got mine refurbished with no issues. It’s not faster than a nvme drive but definitely faster than any hdd. Oh and Samsung usually reliable on SSDs.

I replaced my pc c:\ HHD with Samsung 870 EVO. It copied all the data correctly, was reliable and fast. Because it was refurbished, I saved a bit of money. Been working fast and reliable for many months now.

Product was in very good condition when received. Check through CrystalDisk info and it has 99% of its health though but not too bad. Bought it because I was using it for storage only. Great product!
