I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Samsung Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 980 PRO 1TB SSD! This drive offers blazing-fast read and write speeds thanks to its PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe technology. Whether I’m gaming, editing videos, or working on large files, everything loads almost instantaneously. The 980 PRO has been a game-changer for my PC performance. Windows boots up in seconds, and game load times have drastically improved. As a refurb product, it looks and functions like new, with no noticeable wear or issues. Plus, with Samsung’s reputation for quality, I feel confident in its longevity. I saved a good amount of money going with the Geek Squad certified refurb option, and I haven’t encountered any problems so far. The packaging was excellent, and the drive itself was easy to install. I couldn’t pass this bad boy up at the sale price of $114.00. This is still regarded as one of if not the best SSD for your PS5. My eyes lit up when I saw the price and after a few minutes of elbow grease, my console had 1TB of extra storage. If you don’t mind a refurbished product which you can check to see how much it’s been overwritten on, this might be a great option for storage expansion!

The packaging wasn't in as good condition as I was expecting, so I was a bit worried when I installed it, but so far, so good. Seems fast, good upgrade in storage from my old 500 GB PCI 3.0 NVMe SSD, and the Samsung software is fairly nice (although you can probably ignore it if you don't like extra software)

I was running out of space on my SN850 512GB and Best Buy had these refurbs for a fantastic price so I thought, "why not?" It was delivered in its original box and looked and worked like brand new with less than a gig written to the drive. It did need a firmware update and was ~2 revisions out of date but with Samsung's Dashboard software that is easy to do. Using it on a 12th gen system and it is plenty fast and the extra storage gives me some breathing room.

I wanted to expand the internal storage of my PS5 and after having done the research online on the best NVMe options I decided to go with this 1TB internal drive from Samsung. After a quick and easy install, it worked like a charm and is functioning exactly as I would hope and expect. A great drive if you are considering expanding your PS5's storage.

The process of adding a heat sink and installing into my PS5 was super simple. Can’t beat the refurbished price and it runs great.

This refurb 1TB memory came in the original box with manuals as well. The title says "for laptops", but will fit a standard NVMe slot. I'm using it in my PS5, works great, don't forget to use in a PS5 you'll need a separate heatsink, but those are cheap.

Excellent speed for large games like star citizens or arma, Great for most task. I would still recommend a standard SSD or HDD for bulk data storage like small games or normal files and operating system

I should have done this a year ago but adding storage to my PS5 was very easy with this device. Now i dont have to delete games or free up space as theres plenty. Will definitely buy this again if i get another PS5.

The Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB was pretty good and install was a breeze. Then you have to firmat using the Computer management tool. You are all set for additional 1TB space.

The Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Samsung 980 Pro 1TB drive works flawlessly. The drive arrived in perfect condition having been packaged very well. The SSD works perfectly.

For a refurbished the speeds are the same as a new one and it actually hasnt been overly used, only about 3TB written on mine!

I was excited to find these on sale. It was super easy to install and my laptop runs good with it
