You know you're rolling the dice anytime you buy refurbished, Like any game of chance, I've had some great wins, and some upsetting losses. Unfortunately, this was a loss. The box arrived pretty mangled up. I thought, okay, it's just the outside and I gave them to my wife for her birthday anyway. Upon opening it, only 1 of the 3 ear pieces matched so we used some extra replacements we had laying around cause we didn't know if they were used or not. She used them for about a week and then told me that the left ear kept cutting in and out and it would give her a lot of digital audio distortion. Overall, very disappointed. We thought we were getting a factory refurbished item and instead it looks like they were just ear buds someone returned and then they were resold without sending it to the manufacturer. We ended up returning them and just getting our money back because we didn't want another set of used "Geek Squad Certified" ear bugs.

usable, but there was dirt signs of usage right out of box. Take it as used and not refurbished. I myself never trusted geek squad and advise you think the same
