Dirty and Won’t Charge

There is visible earwax on the buds and inside the case. The case itself is so worn. Disturbing that this was considered appropriate for resale. No charging cord would turn the buds on. Waited 2 hours, no charge. Returning.

I have a Galaxy phone so the airpods were out. I tried jabra, beats pro, and Buds2. These Buds2 Pro was the winner hands down. My quest is over. The noise cancelling and ambient settings are pretty good. I love you can set them to turn music way down when it hears you speak and switches to ambient sound. Also, the 360 sound head tracking gives them a more realistic experience. The tap settings are phinicky but ill take the trade off.

Fit could be better - did not come with medium size ear rubber pieces & tho Samsung promised to send these, they never came. Unable to get the touch function to work, but the app does those functions. Evidently, these only work when have wifi - thought they were bluetooth.

But they are heavy in your ears after a while so it becomes uncomfortable. Also if you have small ear holes even the smallest tip doesn't keep them in.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Before wearing your Buds2 Pro, make sure the earbud tips are properly attached. Wearing your earbuds properly will ensure they remain comfortable when you’re listening to your favorite content. If the earbud tips do not fit comfortably, you can try a different size to get a tighter seal. This will improve the microphone’s performance and provide a stronger sound. With the Buds2 Pro, you can use the Earbud fit test to make sure you’re wearing them correctly. From the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbud settings, and then tap Earbud fit test. Put the earbuds in your ears and then tap Start to begin the test. The proximity sensor will automatically detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on. Once this happens, they will turn on and emit a beep. If the proximity sensor does not make contact with your ear, the earbud may not work. One thing I didn't like about ordering refurb is that I received black ear tips rather than purple ones that matched the buds. The only things I don't like about the buds themselves are the battery life (around 7-8 hours of continuous use) and how tracking the buds from afar while they're in the case is almost nonexistant - you have to use the finicky "nearby search". But they're purple!

They synced up effortlessly with my phone, the settings made using them a cinch, the ambient noise cancelation is really good.
