The copy speeds here have reached only 300mb per second, and not 550 as advertised. Also feels quite flimsy. I also had to figure out how to get this recognized as a hard drive on windows 10.

I own a similar Samsung T5 SSD that I am impressed with, but I returned this particular purchase for a refund. Advertised to include two cables, one USB-C to USB-C, the other USB-C to USB-A, but only one of those was packaged with this refurbished product. The Best Buy associate offered to give me a new Insignia branded cable, but I chose to return this unit (I had not unwrapped the SSD itself), and may decide to purchase a new unit that comes with both of Samsung's high quality cables instead.

While I like the SSD, it did not work for me. I don't know why. Ordering was easy and delivery was quick, so no complaints. After I returned the device I found a larger drive for a slightly higher price at your local store and it is working well for me. Thanks for being willing to take back online orders at your local stores and having a large selection from which to choose a different drive.

Plugged it into my laptop and it would not recognize it. Plugged it into another laptop and same thing. Returned it.

Erased all drivers and they could not be reloaded. Basically a small expense paper weight. Took it back to BB Geek and their could not load driver.

Didn't work when it arrived. Returned it but wasn't able to get another refurbished.

It was not recognized by 3 different laptops and that was so disappointing

This item wouldn't work without being formated properly and the lazy people at geek squad couldn't even be bothered to put the cables it was supposed to come with in the box. The cables you need are about 20 for the right ones so you are better off buying the brand new one out of the box instead of the scratched up garbage they sent out.

It doesn't recognize my computer. So it does not work.

I've order 4 of these hard drives and all 4 arrived and did not function. What's worse is on 2 of them I had purchased the additional warranty and upon return was told I would only receive a portion back because every day counted as some time for a warranty I didn't need.

I bought 2 certified refurbished from Best buy. Both of them can't be connected to any of the computers that I have. The brand new one that I have from Best Buy works perfectly.

Refurbished product . Haven't returned because of hassles with covid 19.

I have the Red 500GB T5. Nice drive fast. Plug and Pay, small enough to take with you. I like thet you don' need a AC cord like some other drives.

I bought this to store and edit 4k DJI Mavic pro videos and it works ultra fast through the thunderbolt 3 (usb type c) connection on my 2018 iMac 27". For the price on this referb item you really cant beat it, the read/write speed is super fast and I'm happy with the purchase. I was surprised at how small the drive is, probably 1/3 or 1/4 the size of a usb powered wd easystore external drive.
