Only issue I have is that if you are browsing prime or Netflix too long then it powers down and you have to power it on again. Not sure if this is a soundbar issue or maybe just the connection with my Sony TV

Maybe it's because I'm used to a full home theater setup but this soundbar seems to be lacking. It had great highs and the subwoofer can definitely be heard but there's a severe lack of midrange even after going through the sound modes and adjusting the eq. If you're looking for a home theater substitute this is not for you. One other issue I've run into is that it won't stay on the input selection it was on before turning it off. Every time you turn it on it goes to ARC instead of HDMI 1 or 2.

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the bass sound quality.
The HW-N850 has controls that allow you to tailor the bass response of your soundbar to your specific room acoustics
The SOUND CONTROL button is located to the right of the Sound Mode button.
To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons
