Flat Panel TVs has a tough time projecting base and if you listen to a lot of music or movies this sound bar really helps project a much better sound. More solid punchy bass and a lot clearer vocals. While it won’t replace a High end 7.1 ( or more ) sound system , it really completes a nice system in a small living room or a bedroom to give a much more enjoyable experience!

Have you tried the various Sound Modes featured on your new soundbar? With Adaptive Sound Lite mode, you can enjoy optimized sound for your favorite video content with technology that equalizes background music and consistent volume control. You can choose this Sound Mode by pressing the Sound Control button on your remote (looks like a gear).

Samsung 2.1 sound bar

It also cocts via optical cable, but Bluetooth is easier with home theater setup on TV. Sounds good. No issues with volume. Just set it higher with TV remote (i.e. home theater volume). Overall works fine. I wish I bought 5.1 channel bar which is 50% more $$.

The bass is clean and smooth and both voices and music come through w clarity and has decent range for its size. The only downfalls I've found are the following. A) while my Samsung TV remote works the volume it has its own remote which you have to use to adjust bass level along w the the TV remote for the treble volume increase. However once you find the daily use ratio then the one remote works alone most the time. B) the Bluetooth seems to disconnect from the TV more often than I'd like. You can tell right when it happens cos you not only suddenly have no bass but the sound gets a weird reverb almost echo. It's not a biggie just a pain to have to go into settings just to reconnect the connection. It could use some mid ranges for a true surround sound emersion but for what it is and the.l price I would buy it again easily . I'm happy w it!

I use it for my gaming and the extra bass has been a nice addition over the tv speakers. It can get pretty loud. I only go up to 20. Music sound fabulous through bluetooth as well. Overall it was a good purchase.

The hardest part is working the remote, the set up is a little odd. Just will need time to get used to the layout.

I was really surprised of how much it can make a home entertainment experience. After a year of ownership I still am very happy with my purchase

Complicated setup, confusing remote

First of all, whoever designed the remote has no sympathy for folks with small hands. It's nearly impossible to open in order to load or replace batteries. Worse yet, the remote is confusing as all getout. Even after having waded through the downloaded manual, I still have no idea how to operate the thing and have to rely on my tv remote to raise and lower volume. The blue tooth pairing was considerably more complicated than I'd expected, especially with a newer Samsung TV. All in all, not sure the thing was entirely worth the purchase price, but time will tell.

We decided to move it into another room and hook it up to our Samsung TV, and it sounded amazing!

The only issue is it was difficult getting the optical cable to work. Thankfully the BT is seamless and works without issue but not ideal.

The simple sleek look complements the TV look and the integration with the TV remote makes it a one touch power on/off for both TV and soundbar. Very happy with this purchase.
