But the bluetooth is pointless. Great idea but it adds a pause ever 20 seconds to the sound which is extremely annoying. Had to use the wire to connect it and it fixed that.

I thought after reading these other reviews , I would be convinced that this is a good soundbar. It is not as loud as I wanted it to be and not very clear . I paired it with my Samsung tv and it looks nice but that’s about it.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A450 Soundbar and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the volume of your soundbar. Simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.
On a Samsung TV this can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)
If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.
If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

Nothing wrong with this soundbar I just decided to return it and upgrade to a 3.1 channel for another $100 and that has made a huge difference
