    Don’t waste your money. The tv speakers you already have will be louder and sound just as clear. Traded it in within 24 hours.

    Soundbar works well enough, subwoofer stopped working after one week. Really doesn't sound good without the subwoofer.

    Loving my sound bar!!!!

    Absolutely loving this sound bar so far. It was extremely easy to hook up (my daughter took care of that!). It is amazing to watch sports and movies, and even every day tv shows. The sound is clear and the bass is amazing! Since I'm not used to it yet, sometimes I swear the sounds sound like they're coming from outside when I have to realize it's actually the sound bar! . Soundbar has many built in sound options, which are all great!! There are different options such as game, surround, and deep bass. I am still learning how to use it! The soundbar looks great on my tv stand, although once we move we'll be reconfiguring everything. So happy with my purchase!

    I consider myself to be a tech enthusiast and it is important that I have the latest technology which, in terms of sound systems, means it is important to me to have an immersive home theater experience. The Samsung Series A soundbars combine the trustworthiness of the Samsung brand with the technology to deliver amazing audio fidelity all at a reasonable price. The wireless subwoofer delivered a resounding bass while the Bass Boost feature gave an instant boost at the most opportune times. Setting up the soundbar was a breeze with the Bluetooth TV connection, which allows you to easily connect your soundbar to your TV wirelessly.

      Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-A450. We appreciate your feedback regarding the performance of your soundbar.

      You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE.

      You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS.

      Press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each of seven frequency bands.

      Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer to -12 or between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

      Please know, simply changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM can help improve the volume. You may want to try changing the Digital Output Audio Format to PCM.

      On a Samsung TV this can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)

      If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, like for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.

      If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

    Small but mighty

    Small but mighty this soundbar and subwoofer pack a whole lot of sound and bass in a small package. I love how everything Bluetooths right to my TV, game system, phone and tablet so right out of the box it took under 5 minutes to have everything up and running. The sound from the soundbar is really clear when I'm watching movies and the bass doesn't drown out the dialog in the movie or tv show. I love how convenient it is to Bluetooth my phone to this soundbar and be able to listen to music with big sound instead of the small interior phone speakers.
