However, the remote for the TV doesn't always sync with the soundbar when we click volume. Sometimes takes a few clicks and directing the remote exactly at the bar.

User manual lacks important information. I was able to find what I needed digging in Samsung's support website. For example, when I connected the soundbar via bluetooth or using the optical cable, the audio and video were not in synch. There are ways to get them in synch but there was no mention of this in the user manual, including in the troubleshooting section.

No HDMI ARC means two remotes... deal killer

This means you can't control the volume on the sound bar with the tv remote. Additionally, many people in other reviews have had problems syncing this soundbar with samsung tv's...

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A450 Soundbar and for sharing your experience Please know, with the soundbar connected to your TV via optical, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your TV's remote. This function works with select manufacturers using a IR remote. By default, Samsung TV remotes should be able to control Samsung soundbars. To change the TV remote settings, follow the steps below:
1. Turn off the soundbar.
2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “OFF-TV REMOTE” (Default mode), “SAMSUNG-TV REMOTE”, “ALL-TV REMOTE”.
If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, if the soundbar is connected to a 2021 Samsung TV, please be sure the TV is running the latest firmware addressing lip sync and audio delay issues.

Thank you for choosing the Samsung HW-A450 soundbar with Adaptive Sound Lite Mode that detects what you are watching and optimizes your sound. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the sound experience and clarity provided by your new Samsung soundbar.
By design, the purpose of the subwoofer is to reproduces low frequency sounds and not musical tones. It adds rich tones and deepens sound effects, like the rumbles of an explosion or the depth in bass guitars and drums.
There are three adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
3) Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select BASS BOOST mode. This will provide you with a larger emphasis on bass sound.
