    I haven't used it enough yet to know how dynamic it might be. Samsung as a rule is a good product which is why I bought it.

    Upon initial setup the sub woofer would not link up with the system upon multiple attempts. I suspect the speaker needed to be closer than 4ft. for the initial linkage and after it's linked there wasn't any issue in distancing the speaker from the unit (at the moment). I was surprised that the sub did not have it's own volume control so as to hear deep bass at a low volume setting as I had with my previous system. The soundbar has crisp and clear notes which are 100% better than the speakers of the TV alone. For the price point upon the purchase, it's not too bad and would definitely let others know of the lacking volume control on the sub.

      I’m sorry for the difficulties with your soundbars setup. We understand your frustrations and are here to help. The subwoofer can be controlled in a few different ways to increase the overall bass levels.

      By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

      Press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.

      You can try adjusting audio performance to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then select the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.

    Love it best decision to buy this speaker. I bought a Bose speaker for my other tv previously and for the price tag this speaker is sooooo much better. And for the price. Best Buy ever!!!! Sounds great.

    Do not use the bestbuy shipping

    I bought my stereo after reviewing several items. It takes bestbuy to deliver my stereo to my house after a month. First, they told me it is delay then i had to call Asia bestbuy center to activate my order. I guess they forgot about my order. This is the reason Amazon has best delivery and notifications. I have not open the box yet to review the stereo.

    Low volume

    Does not get loud enough we need to use nearly full volume for outside BBQ setting

      We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the HW-B650 Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the overall volume of the soundbar.

      If you don't have a surround system, you will probably want to select PCM audio on your TV. You'll get much louder volume that way, and potentially better sound quality.

      If your Digital Output Audio Format isn't set to PCM, for instance if you have a Dolby option selected, then you will likely notice decreased maximum volume. Dolby options are designed for surround systems (like 3.1.2 or 7.1), whereas PCM provides great sound quality for stereo speakers.

      On a Samsung TV this can be found at Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings. (It can also be found in the Quick Settings.)

    Stay away. Nightmare

    Had this for a year. Nothing but issues with the Bluetooth aspect. Sometimes it would be connected and just play no sound. Just a terrible product. Troubleshot it a ton. Just tons of issues. The worst soundbar I’ve ever purchased

      Thank you for taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-B650 Soundbar.

      Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When an update is available, you can update the Soundbar by connecting the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.

      1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner.
      2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model
      2. Download the firmware file (USB type).
      3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name.
      4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar.
      5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. This will take around 6 minutes.
      - During update, do not turn it off or remove the USB.
      - If “UPDATE” does not appear on the display window, remove the power cord from the Soundbar and then reconnect it.
      - When the latest Version is installed, no update is performed.
      - Depending on the USB type, update may not be supported.
      6. After the 3 cycles are complete, the Soundbar will restart and last source used will appear on the display for about 20 seconds and then it will go off (“UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON”) 3 times “D.IN” > off

    Sound sucks

    TV sound generally sucks, and this did not improve it. Someone who should know told me better sound only comes at a much higher price. We have cut cable TV so our TV sound comes from streaming or broadcast but in either case is bad. Not sure I want to spend what it would take. Why don’t TV makers offer good sound???
