Excellent product! Easy to install and sound quality is great! Just what we needed.
The HW-B650 features three ways to connect to an external device: HDMI (ARC), digital optical audio, and Bluetooth wireless audio technology. If your TV is compatible with one of these three audio connections, you should have no issue connecting the soundbar to your TV.

I was very disappointed with this product. Initially the sound quality was great and I considered it a pretty good value having purchased the item on sale. Sadly, two months after the manufacturers warranty expired it stopped working completely for no apparent reason. I went through all the troubleshooting and nothing made a difference. Samsung’s repair estimate was roughly the same cost as my purchase price for the unit.
If you do buy this system, do yourself a favor and get the extended coverage.

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
First, you will want to download the latest software for your Soundbar. You can download the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Audio” > “Home Audio” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-B650 under Standard Series.
Download the update and install it via USB thumb stick to your soundbar. If you need additional help, there are how-to instructions on this page. Please know that Samsung Customer Service is here to assist as well.
Alternatively, you can download SmartThings on your iOS or Android device. This will allow you to update your Soundbar automatically or manually right from your phone or tablet.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

I am really loving my new sounds bar I like that you can connect your music from your cell phone to the sound bar to the TV. My other sound bar did not do all that great for the price and quality

That is work well with my old Toshiba Tv. We can’t use the bluetooth because my Tv don’t have. So we use the wire that include in the box and working well. I enjoy watching movie.
