Connection Issues

I know that from experience, and a Samsung engineer told me that. This time, after the woofer on my existing sound bar lost connection with the sound bar, I decided to buy a Samsung sound bar. It turns out Samsung products have a hard time getting along with Samsung products too. Right now they are connected and working with one remote, but occasionally that connection is lost, and I need to reconnect which is annoying. The sound bar sounds good and since I’m hearing impaired, the enhanced voice transmission helps. That’s why I rated this four stars.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-B650 Soundbar. There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your Soundbar. You can download the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-B650 under Standard.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Next, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

THE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT AND IT IS SO EASY TO USE. CONNECT TO MY DIRESTTV REMOTE AND IS SO SIMPLE TO USE MY 80 YEAR OLD HUSBAND CAN DO IT.

It does the job flawlessly, volume is enough, sound is nice and crisp and the bass delivers when it has to. Construction seems solid and no problem so far.

The only complaint I have is it seems to lose the sound. By this i mean we can be watching TV and the sound just stops but if i push the rewind on my tv remote then play it comes back. This happens multiple times some days and others times we have no issues. Not sure what the problem is though.

There is one improvement feature soundbar makers should add — Bluetooth or T-coil/loop connectivity.

The sound is great and highly recommend. I have a Samsung TV and works great with the sound bar. When i ask Alexa to turn tv on it automatically turns the soundbar on. Connected my Samsung Galaxy ZFlip5 easy

Not sure why people say they have problems with the subwoofer, maybe they did not pair it to the bar. But the sub is powerful, I have to run it at a low setting because it too much base.

Worked with zero setup and my samsung remote automatically controls the volume. Sounds great and love how easy the setup was (2 minutes to plug kn the cables). Soundbars from my past requires the extra remote and other devices (playstation, aplle tv, etc) didnt play as nice. Not anymore. Super happy with the purchase.

Great Bass and an adjustable center channel for very clear voice.

Great for my “mini” movie theater. But this could work in a big room to. Or just for casual usage with a living room setting.
