The sound gives a total Home Theater Effect experience. Really clear and distinctive sound with the thump of the subwoofer. When I use my Days of Thunder or Apollo 13 DVDs, it is just like you are there as those cars go around the race track or near the launch pad while the rocket takes off.

I definitely appreciate having the lows separate from the soundbar, adding more depth to the listening experience.

Older Samsung TV (~12 yrs old) for a few days whoile awaiting on my new Samsung TV to be delivered. I hooked it up with the included fiber optic audio cable, and it sounded amazing. When my new TV arrived a few days later and we got it set up, we tried to connect it via Bluetooth--no sound whatsoever. Incredibly aggravating. I bought a new HDMI cable for it and plugged it into the back of the TV--nothing. I have not tried hooking it up to a different HDMI port yet (I had a shoulder replacement and can't move the TV right now to get to the ports), but as of right now, it's just collecting dust on my TV stand. Pretty infuriating a Samsung soundbar will not work with a new model Samsung TV (new TV does not have the fiber optic).

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-B650 Soundbar.
If you are connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth, please follow these steps:
1) Press the PAIR button on the remote to enter BT PAIRING mode
a. or press the SOURCE button on the top panel and then select BT. “BT” changes to “BT PAIRING” in a few seconds automatically or changes to “BT READY” if there is a connect record.
b. When BT READY appears, press and hold the SOURCE button on the top panel of the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds to display BT PAIRING.
2) Select Bluetooth mode on the TV
3) Select “[AV] Samsung Soundbar” from the list on the TV’s screen. An available Soundbar is indicated with “Need Pairing” or “Paired” on the TV’s Bluetooth device list. To connect the TV to the Soundbar, select the message, and then establish a connection. - When the TV is connected, [TV Name] → “BT” appears on the Soundbar’s front display.
4) You can now hear TV sound from the Soundbar.
If the device fails to connect
- If a previously connected Soundbar listing (e.g. “[AV] Samsung Soundbar xxx”) appears in the list, delete it.
- Then repeat steps 1 through 3
Once you have connected your soundbar for the first time, use the “BT READY” mode to reconnect.

Good sound bar, good price

Good product, I would definitely recommend it.

While it is not some major theatrical sound it also didn't cost over $1000 to achieve great sound. Bought it on sale and very happy with my purchase. Also, setting it up with an HDMi vs. optical made a MAJOR difference.

The two integrate together seamlessly. Very impressed with the quality of the sound - you would swear that there are multiple speakers in the room. I've always been a Bose fan, but they have become way too expensive. This system sounds almost as good, for much less $$.

These are connected to the tv in the bed room and love them! Same sound bar we have for our tv in the living room! Easy to set up! If you are in the market for a sound bar for your Samsung TV without breaking the bank this is it!

So seemless to connect and the sound quality blew my mind. For years I’ve just been using the tv audio and thought it was good but then when I hooked this up it’s such a better experience! The sub with movies and video games makes the action feel so much more alive, music hits different through it which you can also easily connect your phone to for good party vibes!

Works even better if you pair it with the SWA-9200/ZA 2.0 wireless rear speaker kit. You get a wonderful surround sound system at a great price. And even if you don't add the wireless rear kit, the fact that you have a center channel for clearer dialogue makes this soundbar great.
