Great Sound Bar

The Best Buy representative said to go with this and I am totally happy with everything!

Thank you for purchasing the new HW-B650 Soundbar and taking the time to share your thoughts.
You can optimize your soundbar for whatever content you are enjoying to get the most out of the unit.
When you press the CH LEVEL button you can adjust the volume of the CENTER CHANNEL from -6 to +6 by using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote.
If you want to fine tune your soundbar for the best experience, press and hold the (Sound Control) button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.

Good for a budget soundbar

Sound quality isn't bad at all for a soundbar. Does exactly what I need it to. BT isn't bad either. Plugged a flash drive in and it read the MP3 files no problem. For the money it's worth every cent. A few tweaks with the bass and treble

Bought one a couple of yeats ago. And then recently purchased abother tv for another room in the house with a fancy expensive Soundbar that sounded like crsp and didnt work properly with the new tv. So returned it and purchased another one of these for the new tv and everything sounds great. And it was less money. Win. Win!

You can connect with optical, Bluetooth and conventional audio. I’m happy to have this and also connect easily with my phone, tv or other musical device though Bluetooth. Have superb sound.

I do see some difference in sound from my tv to the sound bars sound and quality of sound. For the audio setup it took a bit to figure out how to sync the sound to the video....there was a bit of lag but could be do to the TV settings. Bass is awesome. Could really feel the bass during certain scenes.

If you are using a Samsung TV from 2020, 2021 or 2022 there is an option to do Audio Pass-Through which will help with any audio sync issues you might experience.
On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through
If you are using a different TV then select SYNC in SOUND CONTROL (which looks like a gear), and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

Never thought a single sound bar and sub would be able to create surround sound like audio. It’s loud!!

The subwoofer puts out beautiful sound. The only issue I have is the remote control does not control my samsung tv volume.

However the sound quality is good for the price point $199.

While it’s great to hear that you’re loving the sound quality of your HW-B650 soundbar, I’m sorry to hear of the difficulties you experienced with Bluetooth connectivity.
There are a few things you may want to check:
1) The maximum wireless signal transmission distance is about 33 ft.
2) Electronic devices may cause radio interference. Devices that generate electromagnetic waves should be kept away from the Soundbar main unit - e.g., microwaves, wireless LAN devices, etc.
3) Also, please be sure you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by using a USB device. You can find the update on the product page of your HW-B650 soundbar on the Samsung website at: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0053960&modelCode=HW-B650/ZA
