I’m sorry to hear that you’re dissatisfied with the subwoofer's performance of your HW-B650 Soundbar.
By design, the purpose of the subwoofer is to reproduces low frequency sounds and not musical tones. It adds rich tones and deepens sound effects, like the rumbles of an explosion or the depth in bass guitars and drums.
There are three adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
3) Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select BASS BOOST mode. This will provide you with a larger emphasis on bass sound.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-B650 soundbar.
Here are some tips to optimize your audio performance of your HW-B650 to your liking by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, ADAPTIVE, DTS VIRTUAL:X, STANDARD.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the volume of the treble or bass sound. Press the button to select TREBLE or BASS and then adjust the volume between -6~+6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the subwoofer’s volume between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

There are a few ways you can adjust your subwoofer that will help increase the bass levels and in turn, your enjoyment.
By pressing the TONE CONTROL button you can adjust either the Treble or Bass levels between -6 to +6 using the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote.
If you push the WOOFER button UP or DOWN you can also adjust the bass levels from -6 to +6, if you press the button in it will reset the bass levels to 0.
If you are wanting to really fine tune the equalizer, then press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear) for about 5 seconds. This will allow you to adjust each frequency band to your liking.
Hopefully these tips will help you enjoy the HW-B650 Soundbar even more.

I am sorry to hear that the troubleshooting steps you have tried did not resolve the issue. In addition to checking the connections of the soundbar, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware Version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware by using a USB device.
You may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the side of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The light indicator on the front of the soundbar will blink 4 times and the soundbar will be reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again.
Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience.

Horrible Service

I ordered a matching TV on 2 different occasions from the store to be delivered. This first time, the order was automatically canceled with no explanation 30 minutes after the delivery window had passed. The second time i ordered the TV i scheduled it to be installed by the Geek Squad and less than 12 hours before delivery they told me they were unable to deliver and install my TV. The customer service for Best Buy is complete trash and i will most likely never purchase anything from this company again.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sound is decent but do NOT expect 1500 dollars quality bars, go try them at a local store to see by yourself, they are perfect for 90 percent of people who want a nice sound instead the regular tv speakers, the only thing i hate about then is that they disconnect after 5 minutes or so when no sound is detected and is a pain when i pause a movie or utube video for a awhile
