The first sound bar I bought, remote control didn’t raise or lower the volume, so had to return the unit to BestBuy. BB was awesome to work with. Problem clearly with the soundbar since the same issue happened with a programmed universal remote. Samsung service were uncooperative and didn’t want to authorize a repair until they sent me a new remote (three weeks, and am still waiting for that remote). The second one worked so-so with a digital optical cable. I then tried an HDMI cable (connected to the Hdmi ARC ports ) and it works great now. I have an older Samsung TV and it appears the soundbar doesn’t talk well with the tv using the digital optical cable. Problem is that once you set the TV audio output to Optical, the TV remote does not control volume any more. With the HDMI/ARC connection, you can use your TV remote. I love Samsung but this was a poor experience.

Just installed and used for watching Outlander new season. Sound is really nice with the added bass, and clearer than just the Samsung TV which already has good sound. Still getting used to the volume levels to use as the range up to 100 means turning it up quite a bit. Looking forward to integrating this product to all its possible uses with external devices. The remote is a bit touchy.

Paired this with a 75" Samsung UHD SmartTV. It worked seamlessly so that the TV's remote controls the volume. Perfect for someone not wanting to go through an often frustrating pairing setup.

Using this soundbar with my TV and it has great sound quality with just enough base. Sorry to my neighbors as I'm not watching movies like I'm a theater!

I am happy with it. It had a great quality of sound. If you are looking for something with lots bass and extra loudness, you definitely want to go with the Atmos system. However, this is definitely worth the money. Set up was very easy! I love it!

Fantastic sound and the depth of the bass is exceptional. Also got $200 off with the sale tat was on it! Worth the money and only Best Buy had the special deal on it! Have told many about it too! Definitely will send them to Best Buy!

For the price point this is an excellent sound bar. It does more than increase volume but does also improve the sound of music.

So i was hesitant to pick this up as I saw several reviews that said this didn't have enough bass, boy were they wrong!! This system KICKS and has great bass on all levels to provide a good punch for music and movies. Of course, it's no $1500 Sonos system but it holds its on, and if you live in a Shared wall condo like I do this is perfect (and I love bass) The good: -The sound is clear, especially with the center channel you get all dialogue and background sound. -Bass Hits (lows, mids, highs) and I have the sub set on 4/6 -Super easy to set up and get going -Bluetooth range is good and still has good quality as wired The Bad: - Buggy, the sound cuts on the subwoofer every couple of hours for a few seconds (common issue per Reddit) - The channel randomly changes from TV Arc to HDMI with no sound and I have to cycle around again -The subwoofer has a loud humming/negative feedback noise if you stop playing music or movies (especially on Bluetooth) (common issue per Reddit) -The remote feels super flimsy, especially the volume up button feels like it's going to fly off (common issue per Reddit) Overall its great, but these bugs are making me want to take it back. If I paid the full MSRP it would have went right back but the sale price has me debating.

Delivers excellent sound quality with the option of expanding soundbar capabilities in the future w/ additional speakers!

Works well. Not super impressed with the audio quality, but certainly not bad. Bluetooth connection works *fine* but does sometimes cut or drop out for a second or two. Subwoofer is powerful. EQ options minimal but functional, and sound modes are transformative but confusing. Seriously, there is no official information about what any of these sound modes actually do. For the price, I say go for it… assuming you can get it on sale. I paid $190, the retail price is $400 and I don’t know if it’s worth that much.

My husband and I are hard of hearing. With the sound bar we don't have to have the sound on the TV turned up so loud which is nice.

I love this soundbar surround set. I like to listen to thunder and nature scenes at night to sleep. It all sounds like the real thing I forget im inside sometimes.

Did not have high expectations for this sound bar and it was fairly inexpensive. Once I hooked it up and heard the potential I was blown away. The bass and clarity of voice for movies is unbelievable. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to upgrade on a limited budget.
