Considering how affordable it is, the performance is very impressive. The optical connection works very well. I’m not giving it 5 stars only because it doesn’t include an HDMI connector for eARC.

I bought this to install on the opposite side of the room next to my bed so they don't have the TV blaring down on them. It works GREAT. Now I can watch TV with the volume lower than it would be coming from the TV because the soundbar is closer to my bed. The soundbar itself sounds AWESOME and it was priced to sell. Looking to buy another to do the same in my livingroom because I have dog beds under that tv also.

I just wanted to project the sound out better from the TV plus be able to stream music through it. Easy to hook up. The only issue is the voices are often out of sync with the lips, but it's usually tolerable. Occasionally everything needs to be turned off and back on again to get back in sync.

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-C400 Soundbar.
If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
If you continue to experience audio delay, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included digital optical audio cable, or an HDMI cable purchased separately, to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the audio delay entirely and improves the user experience.

The quality of the this soundbar is clear and when watching an action movie, it makes a real big difference to movies now.
