Everything was practically brand new and it works awesome.

I have read about the benefits of ARC Hdmi but it’s negligible from what i hear…

The difference between it and the TV sound is noticeably better. I would like more information on how to install/connect the bluetooth. It was easy enough to get it online as it did not come with the product. The subwoofer is just ok.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-C450 Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you were unable to completely setup your Soundbar.
You can download the full user manual directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-C450 under Standard.
The manual will also detail how to manually adjust the Soundbar to increase the audio performance of the Soundbar.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only audio input is an optical cable which means you can’t use your TV remote or Apple tv remote to control audio on the soundbar. I dont want to have to use two seprate remotes to operate my entertainment setup. The soundbar doesn't automatically power off when there's no input so you can stay connected via Bluetooth indefinitely thereby controlling the volume with your TV remote. However, you're out of luck if your gaming console isn't Bluetooth compatible. I will be exchanging the soundbar for one with an HDMI eARC and/or RCA cable ports for single remote volume control.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-C450 Soundbar, I am sorry to see that there might have been some confusion on how to setup a TV remote to control your Soundbar.
The HW-C450 Soundbar does have the ability to be controlled by a TV remote using a Digital Optical Cable. If you not exchanged your Soundbar, please follow the instructions below.
1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your TV.
2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
Other manufacturers’ remotes may have to be enabled on your soundbar. First, turn Off the Soundbar. Once powered off, push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “OFF-TV REMOTE” (Default mode), “SAMSUNG-TV REMOTE”, “ALL-TV REMOTE”. Please also make sure your speaker settings on the TV are set to External Speaker.

With speakers on bottom of tv, the sound just isn’t the greatest. This is a great cost effective option toe better sound. Subwoofer is great for the price point.
