    Music Decor

When I first heard of the concept of a picture frame that plays audio, I was a bit skeptical. The Frame TV, although a neat concept, never appealed to me and the Frame Music was definitely something I did not expect to love very much. The set up was easy using the SmartThings app to add it to the WiFi and was able to link it to my Google Home ecosystem. Within a matter of minutes, I had music blasting throughout the apartment and it was barely at a quarter of the volume output. The clarity and bass of the music was astounding and was filling almost every room. The Frame Music comes with 2 stock photos you can use but of course the appeal is to put your own physical pictures you have instead and have it blend into your decor without standing out as a music speaker. This is NOT a digital frame, you do have to use physical photos to display them. As a standalone speaker, it is nice and loud along with being compatible with Google Cast and AirPlay. I was not able to test it as a speaker for TV audio as that is exclusive to Samsung TVs with Q-Symphony, which I do not own. I can imagine using 2 of these as surround audio on those TVs would sound just as great. I will say it is a bit pricey if you want to use it as just a music speaker. It is not technically portable as it requires a power adapter. There are other speakers that will do the same without costing as much along with being portable. If you do happen to own a compatible Samsung TV that can pair with it, I would highly recommend this as you would be able to use it to its full potential

[Employee of bestbuy] Love the sound, fairly simple and easy to connect and use, the bass with no sub is crazy, the only drawback is that it's not digital. I would love to put up some gifs or different pictures from my phone to add to the aesthetic. Overall though can't complain, they sound amazing. Another small complaint is that it struggles to connect on 5ghz right away, it would rather connect to 2.4ghz and then I have to turn off the extender it's connected to to switch it to 5ghz.

The bluetooth connectivity is flawless and super fast, the sound quality is superior, great sonic range, crazy bass for such a thin frame! Looking to purchase a new smart TV that will allow this to be an extension of the surround sound.

Beyond satisfied! Close your eyes and sit back and listen to the music. You would swear the sound was coming from a multi-thousand dollar sound system. Extremely easy to Bluetooth your music to the Samsung music frame. A extra benefit is displaying your favorite pictures! You can not go wrong with this purchase.

I was not expecting how good this sounds. Highly recommend it and it connects over Wi-Fi so it's wireless and I am actually quite impressive on how good this sounds and how crisp the sound is. I connected this up with my Samsung freestyle projector and it basically is seamless. I connected it over Wi-Fi and it is pretty nice.

I absolutely love the Samsung Music Frame! Set up was surprisingly quick and easy. The design is sleek and stylish and blends in like a real picture frame. It adds to the room without standing out like a traditional speaker. The sound is great. It easily connects to different devices, and I had no trouble pairing it with my phone and other gadgets. The frame is on the heavier side, but that just adds to the feel of its high-quality build. It doesn't feel cheap at all. The sales rep tried to convince me to buy two, but honestly, one is more than enough. It fills the room with sound beautifully, and I couldn't be happier with it.

My excitement for this music frame was quickly diminished upon assembly of the frame. The provided description states that you can "personalize [the frame] with your own photos or a different color bezel” and I thought this meant that the frame would be a digital photo frame with changeable lighting options. My confusion occurred due to the usage of plural verbiage in the description (which seems a bit misleading in my opinion). After unboxing the frame I quickly realized my misunderstanding and discovered that the frame can only hold one physical photo at a time. Further, in order to change the bezel color, the bezel has to be physically changed out with bezels that can be purchased separately. Once assembled, I found the frame to be awkwardly sized. For me, the frame was too big for tabletop placement with my tv or even in my kitchen. Yet, if I decide to hang this on the wall next to my tv, I think it would look awkwardly small. In use, the sound from the frame was pretty good but not exceptional. If the frame were to be used as a stand-alone device for an office application, I think only having one frame would be sufficient, but, if using the frame for tv speakers, I think a minimum of two (likely three) frames would be necessary to provide evenly distributed sound. Given such, I feel like the price point of the frame makes this a bit unreasonable compared to other available speaker options for tvs. Connection of multiple frames (surround sound) is done over a wifi. The soundbar I currently have for my tv does not have wifi connection capabilities so I was not able to interconnect the frame with it. If one plans to incorporate this frame with existing speakers, I would recommend checking into the connection capabilities of their existing speakers. While the included stand provides a sturdy base for the music frame, the frame does have some weight to it, and obviously sharp corners. I would definitely not be willing to set the frame on surface that wasn't solid or wide enough to keep the frame from falling to the ground if it were to tip over. In the end, I feel like Samsung really dropped the ball on a really cool, tech forward idea by not including digital features for the picture frame itself. The price point of the music frame certainly warrants it. If using this in an office application, then this is an excellent option for having a speaker, with built-in microphone, that blends into the office setting. Outside of an office application, I think there are better options for speakers. Pros Versatile applications Optional features Control from phone Includes physical control buttons on frame Cons Awkward size / bulky Description of the frame is a bit misleading Average sound quality

This was a gift to my significant other but I am definitely reaping the rewards. He was so, so pleased by it- like a kid in a candy store! Quite easy to set up- all through the Samsung app. And once the sound comes on, it is immersive and wonderful. You can hear every note of guitars, every breath taken in between the sung notes. It's a powerful speaker which looks like art. It's really easy to swap out the photo as well. I ordered several 8x10 so he can swap them in and out, and it has become almost like another piece of art on the wall. It can be hung or can rest on the counter with the built-in stand. Definitely worth the money, especially if you are a fan of 70s & 80s rock music! :-)

I had been looking for a soundbar prior to stumbling on this at best buy. I had already purchased a frame TV and although the picture is great, the sound really doesn’t have the UMPHHH effect. I glanced at reviews and pulled the trigger without much thought or research on reviews or best pricing. Very unlike me to be this spontaneous. Following my purchase I noticed all the reviews around set up. Happy to report with the frame TV already installed and the Samsung app in use, it was very simple and connected seamlessly. The frame itself quite heavy, and should be on a solid and secure surface. Wouldn’t want that thing falling on a little kid or my foot. The looks are the main driver that drove my purchase- as well the TV. It looks good, you can pick your personal photo or use one of the 2 included. Ya, not much selection there based on what the TV is known for. The sound quality is good yet not excellent. In fairness, 2 speakers would probably greatly improve it based on the size of the room, however I’m satisfied. I’m not that particular. If you are, you’d want two for a larger room. The very obvious miss is the fact…. It’s not a digital frame. It seems so blatantly in your face that the frame TV and frame speaker should have the capability to share the account for digital images, and I just don’t get the disconnect here. Maybe the next version will be more thoughtfully complete. It’s good, not great. For the price and the aesthetic I’m pleased. Definitely recommend if you’re already using the frame Tv. I probably would have returned it had I wrestled with connecting it as some of the other reviews mention.

      Hello RobinAa,

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung Music Frame.

When making changes to the Music Frame’s settings, we recommend using the SmartThings app. Through SmartThings, you will also be able to select your preferred Voice assistant like Alexa. You will be able to use voice commands like “Alexa, play my favorite playlist”, or “Alexa, increase the volume”.

Did you know when the Music Frame is connected to Wi-Fi, you will gain access to streaming platforms like Spotify Connect and Tidal (Hi-Fi) Connect? You open their apps and connect to the Music Frame to enjoy your favorite music or podcasts, controlling them all from 1 device.
While Bluetooth has limitations due to its specifications, Wi-Fi offers more flexibility. With Wi-Fi, you can enjoy simultaneous streaming and control, making it a convenient choice for the Music Frame.

If we can further help with any issues or settings, please know Samsung is here for you. Just call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (Ask for Soundbars), 8 AM – 12 AM EST, 7 days a week. Our Live Chat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Sounds good, but bigger than I thought it was. You need to have a fairly large area available to place this frame. (Too big to go above the slide-out in the camper as planned, so now it's in a spare room at home) And at this price point, it really should be a digital frame that you can send your own personal photo's directly to, allowing for display in rotation.
