    Got this item on sale and that i was getting a good valve. Only worked for a couple of days before it stopped working. Had to return.

    Love the sound bar. No issues so far from the speaker itself have had it for over a year. Power outages messed with it a little lol make sure you unplug it befor it comes back on. It wouldnt connect the HDMIarc for a few days

    I have a Samsung Sound Bar attached to my Samsung TV. Love the quality of the audio. Bass is terrific. Sounds great with TV and movies. Highly recommend it.

    After a slight hiccup with connecting the subwoofer I have been nothing but pleased and Flatley surprised at the power and tones that this sound bar creates. I watched the avengers on the sound bar and finish the movie thinking that I was one myself because I truly felt like I was there. Unreal acoustics for the price and worth every penny to take the next step up and purchase this tier sound bar. 3.1 is the way to go ALL DAY any day no questions asked, spend the money and be happy you did.

    The soundbar has great sound , you can really hear the bass. The voice enhancer allows you to understand voices better, it also syncs up voices so lips match sound

    Amazing sound and an incredibly easy setup. The syncing of the remote allows you to only use the sound bar remote while pausing, volume control and rewinding.

    Adds depth to sound and helps us enjoy our viewing experience. The blue tooth subwoofer is behind the couch, The sound bar is wall mounted under the TV

    Good Speakers with Limited Base

    Pretty good speakers. The base is not thumping high - but this is something I knew going in and I prefer. The Atmos effect is average as well - but compared to the competition, it's pretty solid.

      Hi Rythwin,

      You can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting items such as TREBLE, BASS, SYNC, CENTER LEVEL, TOP LEVEL, and VIRTUAL ON/OFF. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.

      – To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, select TREBLE or BASS in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      – Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)

      – To control the volume of each speaker, select CENTER LEVEL or TOP LEVEL in Sound Settings, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      – If the video on the TV and audio from the Soundbar are not synchronized, select SYNC in Sound Control, and then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

      – SYNC is only supported for some functions.

      – The VIRTUAL Speaker function can be turned ON/OFF by using the Up/Down buttons.

    Sound can be overwhelming

    I don't even know what the TV would have sounded like without it -- we were "sold" on it at the store and it was installed by BestBuy along with the TV. We were told that the sound bar can be set to amplify voices and, therefore, deemphasize the background sounds (music, etc.). I don't really hear that. It sounds like we are in a theatre, which I suppose some might think is good, but it's really too much.

      Hello Jahzy,

      Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q600B Soundbar and taking the time to share your experiences with us in a review.

      The HW-Q600B comes with a center channel which is where all of the dialogue will come come from. You can increase this channel specifically by pressing the CH LEVEL button on the soundbar remote until you see CENTER scroll across the LED display on the soundbar. Then you will use the UP/DOWN buttons (the circle acts like a UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons) to adjust the channel between -6 to +6.

    I expected the sound quality give me better quality than what it is. Perhaps I am not programming it correctly and I need to call geek squad, but for what you pay , it should not be that complicated.

      Thank you for sharing your experiences with the HW-Q600B Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with your purchase!

      You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD.

      To control the volume of the treble or bass sound, press the TONE CONTROL button and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.     Stopped working like all the others

    Sadly I am just another review with the same problem many of the other reviewers had. This sound bar was on sale when I bought it so it was a great deal for the technical specs it had, atmos etc. I even had geek squad install it with my new Samsung tv at the same time. The first 2-3 hours it worked great, and then it started just not playing any sound. I was able to get it to work temporarily by trying things like changing inputs etc, but every time it would eventually drop sound again in the middle of watching something, and eventually made the screeching noise others talked about. I went through Samsung support with no success, and I’m not about to wait for a service technician to come service a sound bar that’s brand new and probably tell me I need a new one, only for the same thing to happen like it did with many on here. So I exchanged it which was a shame to me because this sound bar was, by technical specs, a great deal. I would like to note in addition to going through sanding support I made sure the firmware was updated, tried different HDMI cords and all (the ones rated for eARC). It seems this sound bar has some defective firmware with ARC and has yet to fix it in the latest update. The soundbar I exchanged it for has been working perfectly fine with the same setup.

    Great soundbar with excellent woofer.

    I had a generic 5.1 system with my old TV, including a big 10" subwoofer. The new Samsung S95b has built in speakers which are very good, with surprising sound quality. However, adding this sound bar made a big difference, although the included woofer is much smaller woofs more. I am very pleased. A small detail. The instructions say that the woofer can be connected by wire or blue tooth. However, mine could only be connect by bluetooth. Not a probelm.

    Great sounding soundbar. Heavy bass and clear dialogue. Works perfectly with my Samsung S95B TV in the Q-Symphony feature where Samsung Soundbars allow the simultaneous use of the Samsung TV's speakers. I suspect many of the issues being reported here are due to people not using the proper HDMI cables. Make sure to use the latest HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed cables as these are the only ones to support eARC. The older 4K HDMI cables support 4K, but not eARC.

    Excellent product, but little expensive and subwoofer design is very basic compared to new s800b. So I switched to modern design.
