    Coming from The Q90R to the Q990B is a significant upgrade , Q90R was fantastic but wanted something with more power n this system sounds amazing especially in Dolby Atmos

    No sound after one day

    My story mirrors several other reviews for this product. I bought this sound bar on sale for only $250, which seemed like a great bargain. It was very simple to set up, and it sounded very good when it was working. But after several hours the audio started cutting out. Then, the sound stopped working entirely. I tried it on two TVs with regualr HDMI and eARC: no sound. Bluetooth, which worked at first, also no longer works. I tried restarting and factory resetting the sound bar to no avail. I went through several other troubleshooting steps from Samsung's website. I haven't tried an optical cable or updating the firmware, but based on other reviews, I doubt either of those options would help. If I could swap this sound bar out for a working unit of the same model, I would, but other reviewers have found multiple units of this model to be defective. So, I'm just going to return it and start over. Like others, I suspect this may be a bad batch from Samsung.

    Good value for the price. Took a long time to get the unit sounding correct. Syncing the bar with the television voices is an issue. Still not synced to our satisfaction.

      Hi junyarddog,

      I am sorry that your HW-Q600B is experiencing audio sync issues. Please know we are happy to assist.

      If you click on the SOUND CONTROL button, (which looks like a gear) then select SYNC you can adjust the delay from 0~300 ms to fix the delay issues.

      Another option to try is to do a hard reset on the soundbar. Make sure it is OFF, and then press/hold the + and - Volume buttons on the bar itself. After a short time you will see INIT OK come across the LED display panel.

      This will reset all settings but not unpair your subwoofer.

    Works great and sound is amazing. Even played a music station and it sounded fantastic. 100% thrilled with the system the Best Buy consultant Tom suggested.

    Unit wont power on

    Unit wont power on unless you unplug it and plug it back in. Once you is turned off you have to repeat the unplug/plug cycle again to turn the unit back on. Samsung support was no help and Best buy return policy is only 14 days. I only had the unit 3 weeks before I started having this problem. I am currently on the unit to be repaired or replaced by Samsung.

    HW-Q600b is defective & disappointing

    It's an easy to set up soundbar, the remote isn't very intuitive-I'd recommend downloading the manual, the instructions included with the remote aren't very informative. The subwoofer wasn't very powerful. It worked for 2 days. The subwoofer then stopped working, the soundbar Bass and Treble were now "unavailable". The soundbar LED was small and difficult to read; it's unfortunate that a Samsung soundbar that's compatible with a Samsung TV, can't be seen on the TV. The Best Buy website specs are a bit misleading, its not compatible with the Samsung Smart Things app-I found this out by needing to call Smart Thing app support. This unit was offered to me as an alternate for my original order because of "issues with delivery of the orignal soundbar I ordered." After a long process with Samsung product support trying to fix the sound bar issuses we meant with zero success, I asked "So should I return this to Best Buy" and was told "yeah, we tried everything, you got a bad unit." Aka "defective" I then looked at the reviews, saw that this sound bar had some similar issues. I was more than frustrated. I knew I just couldn't & wouldn't accept a straight exchange for this unit. Per the review guidelines, I'll need to address the return issues elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this unit.

    This is the second Samsung soundbar I’ve had and returned. I’m coming from a Roku soundbar for reference. This thing sounds like a hollow tin can and the sub is basically non existent. I adjusted the settings to match a few reviews and nothing helped. Thought maybe it was my living room, but it was not. Even in a small office with the door closed it sounded terrible.

    The Samsung - HW-Q600B/ZA 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Dolby Atmos / DTS:X - Black is a great choice and Dolby Atmos fills any room with great sound.

    Red indicator light is in back of sub woofer so you cannot set if the light is on or off unless you go look. My other sound bars have a light on top of the sub woofer so it's easy to see.
