    The sound quality sounds bad when I heard it at the store it sounded nice got home connected it sounds bad second time I use it didn’t work anymore it was my first time buying at Best Buy didn’t know that you only have 15 days to return they should change that they made me call Samsung

    Two of these sound bars have not functioned prope!

    This item simply doesn’t function properly. I initially purchased one and sound would not come through the sound bar. I returned it and Best Buy graciously exchanged it. However, today I was watching television and the sound bar made this loud unbearable sound and just like that, it stopped working!!!

    Had if for ONE DAY!! Bought it for $249 on sale with a new TV. Had the entire system installed by Best Buy. 75 inch tv so decided to go with full install. Ran with eARC, sounded okay. Installed Saturday morning, dead Sunday night. Did factory install but it wont work. Will return and grab something else.

    This is absolutely a piece of junk. Barry two weeks after purchasing the sound stopped working. Can’t return to Best Buy and Samsung is insisting on me paying to have someone come out to repair. Stay away from this like the plague.

    Horrible trash ! Broke under 30 days recant return to Best Buy cause it’s passed 15 days now have to send in to Samsung to get service . This family will not buy another Samsung device !

    Geek squad came and installed was working for an hour. Tech couldnt fix next day was defective. I went back to store and they tried to upsale me. Total tech is a total disaster

    Stopped working after a week. eArc connection just stopped dead, no explanation and all troubleshooting steps didn't work from updating to trying resets. Taking in to see if a swap can be done, may change review afterwards.

    The sound bar is good but the subwoofer is AWFUL! If you’re looking for a sound bar/subwoofer combo, do NOT purchase this one. The bass is nonexistent.

      Hi Jacob,

      Thank you for purchasing the new HW-Q600B Soundbar and then taking the time to share your experiences with the unit.

      There are a few things you can do to make sure that the subwoofer is performing as it should. Firstly make sure that the LED indicator light is a solid blue, meaning it is fully on and connected to the soundbar.

      If it is solid red then it is not paired to the soundbar or flashing blue means that it trying to pair but hasn't completed it yet.

      Use the WOOFER button pushing it UP/DOWN to raise or lower the bass levels from -6 to +6. The TONE CONTROL button will allow you to adjust the TREBLE and BASS levels from -6 to +6.

      To fine-tune the soundbar, press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds, this will allow you to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
