DON’T BUY OPEN BOX, GEEK SQUAD DOES NOT CHECK THEM

Geek Squad checks nothing, Subwoofer never connects to Sound Bar and Samsung has rejected my warranty claim 3 times already and its only 45days old.

Got a bad one...hoping a replacement will work

Still powered up, it still was seen by the TV controls, Sub was working, but no sound from the soundbar anymore. Returning when the store opens this morning.

Worse experience ever

Waited to set it up and it did not work do took it back to Best Buy to get it fixed and found out the issue was I already identified however, two months later still haven’t gotten my sound bar back and it’s still not fixed

Garbage product

Spent over 2 hours with tech and could not solve problem. This replaced another Samsung soundbar with the same problem. I know other reviewers had no issue but I would not buy and take the chance happening with this issue.

Missing pieces.

When you first got the soundbar out of the box it would have had a sticker on the TOP of the soundbar detailing the features and model name. You will make sure that this is facing towards your ceiling. When looking at your soundbar you should always be able to see the LED display facing you.

I spent five hours and worked with two of my televisions to get this thing going because I thought it was a setting. One good thing is that Best Buy gave me store credit, even though I had went a couple days past their a return policy.

It's on, it's hooked up correctly, and if i put my hand on it i can feel that it's working but can't really hear it. No wonder it's less than half the original price. Stay away!!

I’m sorry to hear that your sound experience of your HW-Q60B soundbar did not match your expectations. The subwoofer is responsible for low frequency sounds, like the rumbles of an explosion in an action movie or the bass guitar and drum in your favorite music. It adds rich bass tones and deepens the sound quality you hear, but since the subwoofer only plays low tones, it will be silent when low frequency sounds are not in use.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1. Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2. Adjust the bass control by pressing the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Sound is a bit better than the original TV speaker

There's a remote that comes with the sound bar, but it's not clear how to use it. I does not automatically interface with the device.

To assist you in the functions and settings of your new soundbar, you can download the full user manual directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-Q60B under Q Series.
This will explain the remote and all of the features/settings available to you with this soundbar.

Defective

TV-Sync issue
