    The Samsung - HW-Q60B 3.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio / DTX Virtual:X is a great soundbar plus subwoofer combo that lives up to the Samsung brand name. It was very easy to setup right out of the box which was a nice plus. I didn’t have to try and sync the subwoofer to the soundbar, it automatically connected when both were plugged in and the soundbar was turned on. The included wall mount is a nice added benefit if your TV happens to be mounted on a wall but for my purposes I did not need it. Still, it is nice to have in case I do end up using the system with a wall-mounted TV. The system has many different sound options and settings that can be customized which is frankly a bit overwhelming but useful if you really like fine-tuning things like this to your liking. One of the features I really do like is the Adaptive Sound mode which really helps with voice clarity. It can be frustrating when you’re watching a movie and the dialogue is drowned out by the background music and sound but this feature really helps even things out and makes it much easier to follow the dialogue. The way the sound seems to surround me and come from all angles is also really cool. The “realistic 3D sound” description is very accurate and really improves the whole watching and listening experience. Overall, the Samsung - HW-Q60B 3.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio / DTX Virtual:X is a great, high-end soundbar and I highly recommend it!

    FINALLY! A sound bar setup that doesn't blast all levels except dialog. I've tried way too many setups to find something where I could actually hear dialog without annoying my neighbors, this one does it! It is actually capable of providing a balanced audio experience. Dialog is nice a clear and the rest of the audio mix is well balanced without overwhelming the rest. The subwoofer provides a nice touch to the low end without sounding too boomy, just the right amount. Once you figure out the settings that work best for you, you'll be really happy with this system. It also pairs instantly which is really great, nothing extra to setup. The different virtual modes work well, but I leave it in adaptive mode and leave the virtual surround off, it has a tendency to really quiet down the dialog mix which I can't stand. I boosted the center channel and dropped the bass just a bit to not annoy my neighbors. All in, it sounds great, it's easy to setup and get going. You'll just need to play with it to find the mix that works best for your ears. There are more than enough options to dial it in to your tastes. The only flaw is the awful LED display. It can only display three characters at a time so during setup it's a big pain waiting for it to scroll by so you can see what the options are. That isn't worth taking a star off, but it is really annoying none-the-less and worth pointing out.

    This is definitely not a compact soundbar but the thickness will allow it to fit beneath most setups. It comes with hardware to mount on the wall if needed. Setup if easy but there are no instructions provided that tell you how to use the speaker configuration options. This is something that would make the initial experience a lot better and save some temporary frustration. It is rather easy to figure thought. There are basic operation buttons on top of the speaker or you can use, as well as the provided remote that gives full control. It takes a few minutes to figure out how to use the volume and mute functions since they can be a little confusing at once. The woofer is wireless and only need connected to a power outlet. The system automatically connects to the woofer on startup and no separate pairing is needed. There is a small LCD screen on the right of the speaker that shows you what setup area you are in and displays the volume, sound profile, etc. You have preset profiles for Surround, Game, Adaptive, Standard and DTS. I use Surround for media and Game with gaming consoles. You can adjust the volume output of the woofer separately based upon your bass preference. The sound is great and it works just as well with music as with movies and games. It has all the features that most people will need in a competive priced and easy to use system.

    The subwoofer wouldn't pair, so I exchanged it for another on and got the same result. The Geek Squad looked at both and couldn't get either to pair. I ended up with an LG that paired as soon as I connected to the TV. I'm extremely disappointed in the time and gas I wasted on this product. I will never get another Samsung anything!

    I purchased this sound bar thinking it would be the best sound bar I’ve ever owned. I connected it to my lg tv (was told it was compatible) it worked for 10 minutes and quit. It wouldn’t connect via Bluetooth, hdmi, rca, I even tried hooking it up to my phone and it wouldn’t connect. I hooked up my old Vizio sound bar and it still worked so I knew it wasn’t my tv. I returned it as quick as I could.

    Would give 0 stars if I could. Present for the holidays. Sound bar was unresponsive to commands other than on and off. Sub woofer would not pair. Unreliable and utter garbage.

    It did not work at all. I did not replace it with a new one. Was just frustrated with trying to get it to work. I finally gave up when the suggestion was to download a "fix" with a thumb drive.

    This product is poor - the sound is average and the giant bass speaker just makes thumping sounds. I ultimately had to unplug it, then just took this back for another one.

    The Samsung HW-Q60B is the latest mid-tier Q-Series Soundbar from Samsung that comes with excellent features and provides immersive experience. It comes with a wireless Subwoofer, HRDMI Cable, mounting kit, remote control, and user manual. Setting up the soundbar is a breeze. You can use the mounting kit to hang up the soundbar under the TV. If you use the HDMI eARC connection, the devices connected to TV can play sound on the soundbar without any additional connections needed using the audio pass through option. The soundbar also has Bluetooth connectivity and USB port to play music from your cell phone and other devices. There are physical buttons on top of the soundbar that are helpful to change volume, power the soundbar, connection, etc. The sound quality is amazing, crisp, and clear, while Dolby Atmos and DTX Virtual: X enhances your overall listening experience. The dedicated Game Mode provides optimized audio that syncs with your game audio. One of the best customization features is the ability to change volume of the subwoofers and the soundbar channel volumes, setting up sound profiles, etc. If you have a Samsung TV, you can use the same remote to control the soundbar as well.     Very Good Sound Quality for the Price

    I Bought the Q65 wireless sound bar to go with the Samsung CU7000 65” TV. Easy hookup and pair with the TV. The sound is surprisingly very good for the price of the sound bar. I was not expecting the boom and rumble from the powered sub. Just plug it in to the wall and go. Movie watching in my home just went to the next level.
