At first I was afraid of the previous reviews, but I took a chance and this soundbar is worth every penny spent! works and sounds great! then I bought compatible rear speakers, but returned these toys back. HW-Q60B/ZA works fine without them. Of course, you can spend 5 or even 10 times more and buy something better, but personally, I'm very much satisfied with this item...

Stopped working after hours

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have Samsung tv, Samsung Galaxy phones and a Samsung DVD player pleased with all Samsung products until I bought HW-Q60B where do I start describing my disappointment with this #1 the non working remote really? #2 does not link to my Samsung tv nor does it link to my Samsung phone really? #3 overheated so bad you could smell it. Needless to say it's packed up for a return as soon as best buy opens. So disappointed Samsung should hang their head in shame and take their good name off this product.

Got it for black friday and so far i have been impressed. Everything sounds so good and cant believe i didnt have a system before. Tv speakers arent good the more they get thinner.

Poor sound

Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q60B Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you are not fully happy with your purchase.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND MODE button to select the desired pre-equalized sound setting. The choices are SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE SOUND – DTS VIRTUAL:X – STANDARD.
To control the volume of the treble or bass press the TONE CONTROL button, and then adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons on your soundbar remote.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
Press the CH LEVEL button so you can adjust the volume of the CENTER CHANNEL using the UP/DOWN from -6 to +6.
