Top of the food chain!

That includes 3 Bose soundbar systems that I truly adore. This combo setup takes sound of music, movies or just streaming content,to the next level. I highly recommend this system. There is a slight learning curve if you’re not used to Samsung, but that’s only because it’s packed with great features.

This system does it job .These SB were all on Samsung Tv, enjoy this very much. Worth the price.Thanks Samsung,teck support is alway there and helpfull.

It also only includes a basic set up manual. I had to go online and look up the full manual to pair the speakers and find how to adjust the speakers individually etc. That said, the performance of the unit itself is great and is enjoyable for our lower family room that's about 18x24 square feet. You will definitely need the "smart things" app to fine tune the speakers, as the display is difficult to read and manage with the remote. I would buy the unit again.

I absolutely love it!!

The number of speaker in the soundbar is really impressive and delivers excellent sound. The wireless rear/side speakers allows for easy placement in rooms that may not be feasible for a wired speaker. This system gives you the flexibility and delivers awesome sound that is so much better than system with less speakers. Great purchase!

Sound is pretty good and way better than the prior 3.1 system of a different brand. Not only is the sound fuller bc of the rear speakers, but the overall sound quality is clear and relatively full and dynamic. Not as good as a 5.1 Denon, wired system, but still pretty good. I'm pleased with the sound quaility. Rating it a 4 instead of a 5 bc the bluetooth connectivity of bass and rear speakers, and the eHDMI connection to the TV of a different brand is sometimes wonky. I've had to unplug and replug the sound system to reset/connect it at least once.

Very happy with the quality of material and ease of setup. Now for the part that counts, sound. The high range I give a A+.. The mid range I give a C .. For Bass sound where is it ? The Bass for what little it has is just muted and not clear. The phone app needs more options. Overall I give this system a C, Not very happy with it.

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q990D Soundbar.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Auto EQ, Spacefit sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, Night mode, Sync, Surround speaker mode, Virtual. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
You can try quickly optimizing the audio by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
To control the volume of each speaker, press the CH LEVEL button on the provided remote. Then select CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL, WIDE LEVEL, FRONT TOP LEVEL, REAR LEVEL, or REAR TOP LEVEL. Once you find the channel you are looking for, adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in.
2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Within the SmartThings app under Advanced settings, you can easily activate the Bass Boost feature to add more of a punch to whatever you are watching or listening to.

Very immerse surround sound and plenty of thump with sub woofer. Would highly recommend this system to anyone wanting a all in one package

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for watching Dune Part 2 and that alone was well worth the money, but I was blown away by the immersion this offers for gaming; walking around the world of Horizon Zero Dawn and hearing a Tallneck in the distance behind you is SO cool!! Ponyo was also a pleasant surprise for having not known how much surround sound there is in that movie! Still expensive, but overall well worth it!
