It sounds amazing for a minimalist setup at a very reasonable price. Probably not for the sound snob who wants the best of the best, but definitely for the average person who wants good bang for your buck at a reasonable price.

The picture is more detailed and the color better than our former set and the sound bar makes a HUGE difference. Our Best Buy associate was very helpful in explaining the difference between various TVs and sound equipment.

We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-S60D Soundbar.
To take full advantage of your new soundbar, download the SmartThings App to your smart device. This will allow you to control your soundbar as you would with the provided remote, but with the added advantage of seeing what changes you make on your device.
Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. When the Soundbar is connected to the Internet, Auto Update allows software to update automatically even when the Soundbar is turned off. You can also update it using the SmartThings app.
Q-Symphony is only available when you connect the soundbar to the TV using an HDMI cable or an optical cable. You will also need to change the source on your soundbar to D.IN. To do this, press Source on the soundbar’s remote until “D.IN” appears.
When the Samsung Soundbar is connected, the menu name such as "TV + Soundbar" appears under Sound Output (Settings > Sound > Sound Output). Select the menu. (Example: TV + [AV] Soundbar series name (HDMI) or TV + Optical)
