The wireless charger stops charging when you get text or email. Also only charges to 96%

Works fine on my Galaxy S7. Very portable small flat size. Great way to keep battery topped off during the day without constantly plugging/unplugging charger. Phone must be somewhat centered for blue charging light to come on. Light turns green when 100% charged. Deducted a star only because top of charger not rubberized, and phone slides around too easily. Great for overnight charging. This charges at 5watts. A more expensive 10-15w fast charger would be better for heavy day use on S7.

I bought this to use in the car but the rubber surface is so slippery that the phone keeps sliding off. I returned it.

I recently got a SGS6 edge and wanted to take advantage of the wireless charging. Was torn about which one to go with but settled on this one. I have to say it works pretty well. Charges a lot quicker than I thought it would and I haven't seen the same issues as others when they say their phone discharges when it gets to 100. I can say that my experience is the device is always at 100 when I wake up. So not sure if it's the devices that handle the charging differently, defective charging pads or my phone just sleeps well and doesn't use much battery when I'm not using it. In any event, I am satisfied and now have 3 altogether (office, bedside and mancave). My only grip is not necessarily with the pad but since the back of my phone is glass, it starts to slide as soon as you put it on there and it will continue until it's off the charger. I have since put a rear screen protector on it that allows enough traction to prevent the sliding so no more issue. So again, not necessarily the charging pad's fault but wish it had a less slick finish. Otherwise very good product

I primarily wanted something that I could use to allow me to keep my battery charged when I got to work, and since I got up from the desk a lot, I didn't want to keep opening and closing the cover on my Galaxy S5. Using the charging back on the phone, this works perfectly for that purpose. Don't expect it to charge quickly, though, but for keeping a charge on the phone in an area with bad service, this works perfectly.

I use this with a Galaxy S6. The slightest bump or air movement and the phone slides right off of this thing. And if your phone vibrates at all while charging, it's definitely sliding off. I fixed this by putting 4 small pieces of double sided tape near the edges. Touch the tape a lot with you fingers so it's not very sticky anymore. That way the phone doesn't really stick to the charger, but it's enough to hold it in place.

This device charges your phone well and quick WHEN you correctly place it on the charger. The difficulty is that it's very difficult to tell when you've correctly positioned the phone and oftentimes it'll look good (the light on the Qi charger even glows acceptably) but then you come back a few minutes (or the next morning) and find that there wasn't much charging because something -- what, I don't know -- caused the charger to change its figurative mind.

This is my 2nd Samsung Qi charger I bought from Bestbuy. Been using it with Samsung S6 Edge Plus and LG G4 without problem. Average charging time for Samsung S6 Edge Plus from 20% is about 3 and 15 min. For LG G4, it takes little over 3 hours and 45 min. 1. Both of my phone has no protective case or screen film. People may forgot most Qi charger has less than 5mm charging distance and charging will STOP if phone is in use, such you have Wifi or NFC turn ON! 2. People may ignore the fact, most of Qi charger has only 1A output and most newer phone charge at more than 1.8A via direct AC connection. "Compain it been slow in charging may not be quite fair - Unfortunately, if your phone does not support 15W Qi charging, buying a faster charger will NOT work neither. 3. Try not place your charger next to any electronic item / IC or metal desk. " place a little piece of aluminium foil and you will see what I mean " So.. happy charging! Save your phone connector!

works good as long as the phone is placed on the pad correctly and the phone does not move around as this causes the charging to stop.

Charger is great for travelling and small enough to store conveniently. Only problem is it isn't actually wireless. The actual charger has to be plugged in in order for it to charge the phone, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the wireless concept. Might as well just plug my GS6 in to the fast charger and have it ready to go even faster. Definitely going to look for a more convenient charger.

This charging pad is a great way to charge my new Galaxy S6 except the phone constantly is sliding off. I have to strategically place the charging pad so there is something blocking the phone from sliding off. I purchased two of these, one for home, one for work, and returned the one I hadn't opened and got the bigger one that hopefully will work better.

the charger works i charge with my spigen case and the qi chargers right through no problems so far i left out 1 star just cause i wish the pad was bigger but at least always go with the brands not the cheap ones

For being a Samsung product I guess I expected it to be less finicky. It is great to have it next to couch so I can conveniently set my cellphone on it when I get home.

Just got the Samsung Galaxy s7, and this wireless charger is great. You have to place your phone a certain way for it to charge but overall it's convenient to have around your desk.

I have the Galaxy S5. Prior to purchasing the wireless charger, I was concerned about the less than stellar rating this particular product has received. I decided to give wireless charger a chance because I knew I could return it if it did not meet my expectations. Well, it has exceeded those expectations. I plop the phone on the charger at night, and wake to it being 100% charged in the morning every day. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews that it would charge to 100% then begin to lose its' charge, or stop charging at some point altogether; but I have not had any issues. It has been a fantastic experience and I fully recommend it.

great charger, perfect for the office, the samsung s6 slides off, but once i put a case on my phone, it stayed on the charges just fine

This charger will charge the phone for 30 seconds, pauses, then stops charging all together. I will be returning it. I can't believe all the positive reviews on this item. I must have a bad unit.

Doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy S5, even though it's listed as compatible. After some research, I have discovered I need a Qi enabled phone, in other words, I need to buy a special Qi card or Qi cover and install this onto my phone. This would be useful information to list on the website for knuckleheads who don't know everything about technology like me.

Even though my Galaxy S5 is already three generations old, I was thrilled to learn that it had wireless charging capabilities. Therefore, I purchased this charging pad online and received it within a few days. It works exactly as advertised, and I love that its design perfectly matches that of my Galaxy S5 when it is in its black wireless charging S-view case! The only con is that the pad is on the small side, and the phone looks too big for the pad when it is on top of the pad.

I always wanted one. I guess it's not the "rapid" charger since it's the mini, but for the price I can't complain. I like the concept of wireless charging. Pretty awesome deal. :-)
