Good sound quality but not very loud

I thought that because it has 1700w it would be louder but it didn't meet my expectations. I would recommend it for inside parties not for outside ones.

As far as the sound it doesn't compare to my 1800 watt lg party speaker . Huge difference, close to 8 years I've had it and still knocks. It does not have a digital display for at least the volume. Good looking speaker but doesn't do the job. Very hard to plug in. It is on. Slant. I had to almost put it face down to do so. Not recommended.

When you are streaming to your Sound Tower check the app you are using to see if it has it's own EQ settings. If it does this will allow you to dial in the quality of the audio coming from your smart device.
Using the Samsung Sound Tower app will allow you to adjust the volume, lights, DJ effects, pre-set Sound Modes, bass boost and fully control the Sound Tower with a remote interface.
