When you have your smart device connected to the Sound Tower, your device's volume will effect the overall volume. You will need to make sure that your smart device has it's volume set to the highest amount and this will increase the overall volume of your Sound Tower.

There are multiple ways you can optimize your new Sound Tower. Press the SOUND MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available sound effects: PARTY, STANDARD, HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN, HOUSE, or REGGAE. The default mode is PARTY.
You can also use the BASS button to boost your bass. Press it again to return to the normal sound.
We also suggest adjusting the equalizer that is in the source of your music, whether it be your smart device itself or the app that you are using to play the music from.

I also own the Samsung Xt70 1500watt speaker, the generation before this one,and im not lying when i say that The Xt70 is ALOT Louder than this one!!. Im returning this one back. So dissatisfied and disappointing.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not fully satisfied with the performance of your MX-ST90B sound tower.
Updating the firmware on your Sound Tower gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. If an update is offered, you can update the firmware by connecting a USB device with the firmware
update stored on it to the USB1 or USB2 port on your Sound Tower.
You can download the full user manual and firmware version directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Towers”. From there, you can select the MX-ST90B.
