The monitor I initially received had some dead pixels on the screen out of the box. After attempting to fix the issue myself, I decided to contact customer service the next day. The service I received was excellent and responsive over text, and I was able to send the monitor back and have a new one sent to me free of charge within about a week. I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend purchasing from Samsung based off the quality of the service alone.

Overall this is a very good monitor that looks great in games. I dont see any visible ghosting, and the colors are great (I dont know how color accurate it is though). The monitor has great blacks for an ips panel and gets fairly bright so you shouldn't have a problem using in well lit rooms, just try to stay head on as the viewing angles don't feel the best. The stand is excellent and has a large range of height ajustment. Im very happy with my purchase and would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a mid range display(I had gotten this monitor for 270 so keep that in mind as far as value goes)

Use it for CAD and Xbox. Switches between both perfectly. Calibrating HDR for the xbox was a pain.

1440p, 165hz, HDR !!! What more could you want! Unless you have tons of money to blow on 2160p this is all you need for best gaming experience.

its a great monitor for gaming but not so much for watching videos. I will give it 8/10 for gaming and 5/10 for video streaming.

After having the monitor for 2 weeks and calibrating the colors properly, this is a superb monitor for being under $300 when I got this on sale.

I bought this monitor for 299$. One week after that, the price went down to 249$. Fortunately, I could bring the receipt back to a store and had a refund of 50$ for a new discount price. I am very satisfied with this policy. For a monitor, it works well with bright and quite accurate colors. I would not say this is the best 2K monitor I have used, but it is better than my expectation for the 249$ 27inch 2K monitors.

pretty good. I haven't realized any ghosting or anything like that while using it. I am playing competitive fps games and pretty happy with it. I was thinking about LG nano IPS 27" but picked this one because of the price difference. And not regret it at all. But when it comes to the material quality and stability, I think it could have been better. Not very heavy stand and plastic parts feel a little cheap. The swivel and rotate and up down move feels also a little uncomfortable. but these don't affect the use actually. I still rate 5 stars.

Overall quite satisficed with the screen, color is good, HDR is a bit weak and ended up not using it most of the time. Only complaint is a very rare but repeated flicker near the top of the monitor when video playback starts on another monitor. Issue is isolated to just this screen did not happen with old one.

I was using the G40B 240Hz previously and found that it wasnt for me as I wanted a monitor with higher resolution. I found this G5 Odyssey to be a great compromise and ended up returning the G40B. I knew I wanted to use a monitor not only for competitive games and productivity. Been using it for a few weeks and did a monitor test. Everything works as it should, but be wary you could get a QC issue with some as others have stated. For my experience, it turned out good. Love the ergonomic stand it comes with, saves me from purchasing a monitor arm.
