    I upgraded from an older 1080p/60hz monitor to this after finding it on sale. When I first hooked it up, had to manually change the video input from HDMI to displayport, but after that, everything was absolutely amazing. Running at 1440p and 165HZ native changed my view of the content on my PC. Planning on getting a 2nd one to complete my setup.

    Hello all, I bought these monitors about 8 months to a year ago. At first, they were great. However, they started to decline rapidly after about 2 months. After extensive research I found out that the monitors do not wake from sleep properly, unless the refresh rate is set to 60hz. The screens lock up and distort the currently open windows. Also, sometimes after waking, the monitors would be completely pixelated until I restarted the computer. I really wish I had the membership when I bought these monitors. I would have returned them or at least got a swap/replacement. The refresh rate and 1440p resolution was the main reason I bouight these monitors. That, and Samsung's general display reputation. The refresh rate is complete marketing hype. Although, the 1440p does look pretty decent. All-in-all, save yourselt the time and grief and buy LG. D+ at best!
