Defective no sound. Hopefully they take it back because I tried everything

It’s clear that more and more the market is delivering the specialized product to the right user. This Samsung Odyssey G51C is trying to deliver, with very satisfactory results, a perfect monitor for your gaming experience. With a 32’’ screen, and 165HZ refresh rate (note that most traditional TV are between 60 to 100Hz) this monitor defines the word Immersive with a complete range of experiences and brings it to a different meaning. Adding to that the quick 1ms response and the HDR quality, this monitor is made and delivers its best for active games that require quick reaction and a short response time. Good for Samsung that delivers the monitor in the right package and I am highlighting the plenty of inside protection. To open the box strongly recommend following the instructions to securely install the stand. Immediately after that, connect the wires: one for the power cord, one for the video (two HDMI are available and a USB-c), and ready to play. Turning on and connecting to the laptop, I recommend checking the display settings to be sure that delivers the best displays. If needed, a small stick on the bottom of the screen serves as a single control. All my tests are with PC games (already in Windows 11) the native HDR display is out of this world. My favorite Doom Eternal. Gaming in a monitor of this size with a full 165Hz refresh rate can not be described it needs to be experienced. Because at home we are not professional gamers, I also converted the monitor in my working station and tested also the monitor to some basic office functionalities which are great. Having this size applicable to my Excel tables is awesome. One single note that probably will not be a big deterrent if you are buying a gamer monitor. As with most of them, this monitor has no built-in speaker. In my case, I have a stereo system connected to it. Altogether, this is a great option and a must equipment for a gamer.

Monitor isnt good too me when i play fps if you dont play FPS games then you might like it but compared to my ither samsung monitor which is a older version this one sucks felt sluggish

I qualify image is not as good i in the store. Not sure what is did in setting it up. I may need some help, thank you

Monitor is only 8 months old and wont turn on. Stay away.

Okay of you see the specs you know what you are getting. The screen is really good for it being a va but as most it suffers from being dark even after max settings, solution for pc users dynamic hdr default settings then go to you gpu settings that allows you to change colors ect increase brightness and contrast from there then you will be satisfied, can not recommend for console because you can't do this fix, now picture quality is pretty good not super crisp but not muddy water aka blurry because of this it's very easy on the eyes. Over all it honestly feels like a 200 dollar purchase so get it on sale

Flickers, goes black for about 3 seconds several times a day.

Price went down 5 days after I bought it. No 4k. Not worth the price.

This is one of the best monitors I’ve purchased and for the price! Nice sized and graphics are perfect. I recommend anyone looking for a good monitor this is a very good option! One thing I wished it had would be onboard speakers but from a gamers point of view headphones works best anyways!

Got this 32" Samsung G51C 32"monitor last week. Real impressed so far! The 32" display that runs a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440 is really nice to be able to see better on my screen than my previous 27" monitor. Easy to setup out of the box and connect to my Alienware x15 R2 gaming laptop. I had no issues attaching the included stand. Has ample ports on the back as well. The multiple adjustments for rotation in 2 directions and to raise and lower on the stand was nice since I was able to lower it a bit and fit under the hutch above my desk. The vertical rotation capability I can see as a plus for someone who uses documents mainly. To my eyes, the brightness and contrast are great out of the box (but still playing with settings of course). Limited gaming so far has been perfectly smooth and responsive with that Alienware laptop. And for my use, Solidworks CAD also ran very smoothly. Definitely recommended!

I really like this Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor. It's bigger than I thought it would be but a great size. It fits on my desk nicely with another monitor that's 27in. The size isn't overwhelming and works good for daily tasks or gaming. Surprisingly the screen is very light weight. This works out so that when the desk is bumped it doesn't seem like it's going to fall over. It's bevel less but the picture doesn't go to the edge. There's a quarter inch invisible bevel of black that goes around the edge. I wish they were able to get the picture to go all the way to the edge. This monitor has the coolest menu I've seen on a display. It's big and legible with lots of customization options and stats. Performance wise I have zero complaints. I played Diablo III, Destiny 2, and EVE Online to try it out. The monitor was plugged into an Alienware gaming desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. The graphics were crisp with good black balance and depth. Game play and cut scenes were smooth. Erratic action game play didn't cause any artifacts or blur. With the screen being so big it felt more immersive even without it being curved. I didn't have any problems with eye strain after hours of play. The screen didn't seem overly bright. I streamed some movies and it was a good size for that and looked good enough. It's not 4k but sitting close I didn't see pixels are anything so it worked good. I was excited that this monitor had a portrait option. This didn't seem practical when I tried it out. With the monitor being so big it made it very unstable in this configuration. It seemed like it might be good if you wanted to stack windows like stream some TV on top and work on the bottom. Or do some research on top and work below. Having a window span the whole screen so there was less scrolling just seemed excessive. I would absolutely recommend this monitor to anyone.

It is light, the quality of picture is good, but there is no sound from the monitor itself. So, plan to invest into a sound system. The price is fair.

Use this as a secondary monitor and one to travel with for gaming and it's been awesome. Got it on sale. Pictures great moves around well too. 10/10
