One Major Issue

Best Buy only allows 15 days to return something (unless you PAY for a Best Buy membership, which then allows a NORMAL amount of time, that EVERY other company in the US allows for FREE) That said... This monitor is crap IF you sit close to it. By close I mean 2 feet. The center is bright but darkens as it gets closer to the sides, so the picture brightness isn't even at all. If you'd sit at this distance, and like this monitor, but the CURVED version which should eliminate the issue. ASIDE FROM THIS ISSUE... It's a nice monitor for regular use, not sure about gaming. The stand is great for adjustments. You can slide it up and down almost 5 inches, tilt up or down, and swing it left or right. A good design. The picture goes almost all the way to the edge, except for the bottom. So that's nice The power/menu button is nice, unique, and intuitive. Works great and you don't have to remember which button does what cuz there is only one. Also it's nice that it has a headphone jack. I've never seen a monitor with one before.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not sure who this monitor is for, but you’re better off just getting the G52A for the same price. Bad response times resulting in motion blur, unusable HDR mode that has to be a bug of some kind because it’s so dark you can’t see anything… color fringing on text… just a very poor monitor unworthy of the Odyssey name. I’m not sure if it can be fixed with a future firmware update, but in its current form, it is just an abysmal experience. I expected much more from this monitor hoping for the color and contrast performance of Samsung’s G7 VA panel but in a flat screen… but let me warn you now, if you’re looking for that, it ain’t this. Pass on this one and save yourself some time.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you plan to get this monitor youll have to use hdmi which brings the max hz to 144 as this model of samsungs monitor has a display port issue and if you use the display port it will cause your screen to constantly cut inand out over and over. Updating drivers and software wont fix the display port issue its a defect in this model that they have not fixed yet.

I do not recommend this monitor it's bad dies in 2 months of use it's crazy
