The picture quality is so great I love the size of this moniter!

Excellent display, excellent size, and excellent refresh rate. I love it. However there is an annoying issue where the audio defaults to "2 - (insert model number here) Internal speaker". It says its a audio device, windows states it is, games identify it as one. However, no audio comes out. So my question is, what exactly is it? But if you want to disable this (which is what I IMMEDIATELY recommend), all you do is go onto settings-sound-manage audio devices then click on "2 - (insert model number here) internal speaker" and press disable. I again, don't know what this ""audio device"" is, or what its meant for. Because the official packaging or site states NOTHING about an "Internal speaker" BestBuy doesn't list it anywhere. So hence i bring up the question of what exactly is it? But since i disabled it the annoyance is gone, but sheesh, spent a few hours on this one. I rate it 5/5 I wouldn't do that again.

I bought it at the Midtown store on Black Friday 2024 (thanks to the guy who helped me quickly carry it to the checkout counter), then carried it all the way home (I forgot to drive, it was indeed a bit heavy, haha). After using it for a year, I'm happy to say that this monitor is great for both my work and my entertainment. The display is crystal clear, and it can swivel left and right while tilting up and down. If there is one drawback, it would be to avoid placing it facing your bed because the blue power indicator light on the screen can be quite dazzling in dark environments (it stays on even when the monitor is asleep, but you can cover it with tape without any harm).

Large monitor with a quality display and a high refresh rate for a moderate price. I caught it while it was on sale and can say I am very happy with it. All under a quality company for electronics. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality 1440p monitor.

I've been using the Samsung Odyssey G51C (LS32CG512ENXZA) for a couple of weeks now, and it's easily one of the best value 32-inch gaming monitors I've owned. The QHD (2560x1440) resolution on a 32" VA panel looks incredibly sharp, colors are rich and punchy thanks to solid contrast (around 3000:1) and HDR10 support that actually makes a noticeable difference in supported games. Blacks are deep and inky – way better than most IPS panels at this price. 165Hz refresh rate + FreeSync Premium feels buttery smooth; no tearing or stuttering in fast-paced titles like Apex, Cyberpunk 2077, or Black Myth: Wukong. 1ms MPRT response time keeps motion blur minimal – ghosting is practically nonexistent once you tweak the response time setting to "Fast". The stand is simple but sturdy, with good height/tilt adjustment, and the aggressive 1000R curve really pulls you into the game without distorting the desktop experience too much. Build quality feels premium for the price, and the minimal bezels look clean in multi-monitor setup. Only minor nitpick: it's not the brightest (rated 300 nits, real-world closer to 280-290), so it's best in controlled lighting, but that's expected from a VA panel in this range.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 is a solid gaming monitor. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make gameplay super smooth and responsive. The image quality is sharp, and the colors look great out of the box. However, the viewing angles could be better, and the stand doesn’t offer much flexibility. Great display and even bigger monitor. I wanted a 34” monitor but went with this one and believe me is big enough for any use. Only cons, it doesn’t have speakers.

This is by far one of the best monitors for the price no speakers but wider so it works almost lbetter for gaming and I am able to plug it to my jackary battery and it still turns on and works with Chromecast ultra. I picked up one at the Blossom Hill store and the cashiers and associates helped me pick up an open box and it had a few smudges but no issues and I wanted to say the associates at the Almaden Expressway in San Jose are one of the best and the brightest of almost all the stores I have visited in the Bay Area as a part of my job or just for personal shopping.

The reason why I chose this monitor is because it’s a 4K monitor but it also gives me the option to go to 2K or 10 P I like that about that right on top of it. It’s a 165 Hz monitor, which allows me to play games that are up to 100 and you know that 165 Hz Right now I plan on the Xbox series X which is 120 Hz but still if I wanna upgrade my system and plan on something little bit more powerful I can it’s also one millisecond monitor, which allows me to get awesome refresh rates when I’m playing first person shooter games like call of duty, which is my favorite and everybody else’s is also a great brand that produces great panels and great screens and it’s also 32 inch to see all the map and all allows me to be more submerge in the game.

This is a great monitor for the price. The vesa mounting works well and the monitor is not heavy. Picture looks very nice but it does feel like the monitor needs to warm up a bit before playing as there can be some ghosting right after the monitor comes on but goes away through use. Would recommend anyone wanting a good 1440p monitor at a decent price.

Easy set up and configuration, great quality for the price! I love everything abiut it. Only one negative, I wish there was built in speakers.

Forced to find a new monitor for my gaming rig and not looking to cash in my grandson's college fund, I landed on the Odyssey G5. I did NOT get this on sale and so paid about $400. I feel it is well worth that price, and if you can get it on sale so much the better. The screen is brilliant. I did find the color balance different enough from my previous monitor that I needed to take some time tweaking. This paid off. The monitor has an easy to use built in menu for selecting and adjusting various values. The refresh rate is very nice for gaming. My old monitor was only a 60hz model and I didn't realize how much difference that high refresh would be - it feels sort of hyper-real (even playing games) compared to the old one.

I use this for my personal gaming room when i wanna play xbox in peace and i also use it for my PC. The picture is not going to look as good as a 4k TV. But i can tell you, there isnt an insane difference. I prefer playing on this due to the refresh rate and the HDR does just enough. For the price, you cant go wrong.

Great quality and very ease to use. Stand took less than 5 minutes to setup.
