Was probably a poor decision for our relationship, but, he did say he thought his game on his old monitor was lagging but when he switched to this new monitor, he realized it was just a poor refresh rate. Given that the guy at the store told me the refresh rate on this monitor was really good, id figure that was the issue. I know absolutely nothing about computers but to say my gamer husband was stoked to get this monitor is an understatement. More time for me to read my books anyways!

The picture took a little tweaking out of the box to get to my liking but what monitor isn't like that. I haven't noticed any of the ghosting that can happen with VA panels.

The color are solid, its no HDR600 or OLED panel but it comfortably gets the job done.

Resolution, colors and size are perfect. The 165hz feel like a dream and my games look amazing on the G5. Completely recommended by me.
