Even the on-screen display and tech support confirms that it supports DisplayPort 1.2. That being said , if you get this on sale it's worth a buy but not a full price. It's not a bad monitor but it feels a bit sour to advertise a specific feature and not actually be capable of it.

I was a little worried about the size since I was only looking to get a 27" monitor but it has been a welcome upgrade in size.
