Response time is excellent, only negative is HDR isn’t great yet, although I’m not sure if that’s Windows or Samsung’s fault.

A little more than I was wanting to spend on a monitor but I have no regrets. I love curved monitors and this is a very curved monitor. It's very smooth in pretty much everything!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box, this monitor had two dead pixels on the screen, and 3 weeks later, the screen went black in the middle of using it and it never came back on. The Monitor's power button would light up when pressed, but nothing would show up on the screen. I tried all of the DisplayPort and HDMI ports on the monitor, used multiple different cables to see if it was a cable issue, and tried it on multiple computers as well and nothing worked. Having a monitor completely fail internally and die after less than a month, especially given the price, is completely unacceptable. Not to mention the dead pixels right out of the box. It had a lot of potential, but fell extremely short. I would not recommend buying this monitor based on my experience, and it seems others have had similar issues as well. Samsung needs to do better! Luckily BestBuy has a good return policy!

The Nov. 2020 firmware update fixed the flickering issue others here mention

Great performance, too much curve

That has apparently since been fixed however I feel that a 1000r curve is ridiculous for a 27 inch monitor after having owned both the g7 32 inch and the g9 49 inch. This level of curve was much better suited to the other two.
