    Really bad quality control

    The smart monitor features on this are gimmicky and only get in your way if you are trying to use it as a monitor and not a smart TV. Then after 1 month of ownership I got a dead pixel. I was gonna get a refund but Best Buy did not accept it so I sent it in for a repair. 1 month after getting it back from the service it starts flickering randomly so now I have to send it in again. Horrible quality on tese panels.

    The set up process is a mess

    This thing is piece of junk. Took me 2 hours of trying to set it up by creating accounts, downloading app, following the instructions, etc. and I could not get it to connect to the laptop. Finally found a work around from comments on the internet, an option that was not included in the Samsung instructions, and got the laptop to connect but the screen just constantly flickered in and out. If you want a monitor you can just hook up via an HDMI, this is not what you are looking for.

    I can't believe how this monitor is still available for buying, this should be considered a scam. I used this monitor for 3 WEEKS, and started turning off and on every like, 5 minutes for more than 2 seconds. Also, the display port started glitching without a reason. I asked for a refund but they said they could give me a new one with my warranty an guess what? This one is broken too! I have another DELL monitor 10yo and still works and a Gygabyte monitor that also works. What a scam and also what a scam from Best Buy.

    Bought this monitor because BB was having a sale and the speakers on this monitor sounds muffled! Worst speakers on a monitor I experienced by far. The display is ok…. Some pictures look pretty washed out and kinda wish I kept my benQ.

    Had good potential but had to have it at 2k res 60hz or it would glitch the whole monitor not impressed with Samsung's products had to return.

    Connection issues abound.

    Monitor had connective issues from the beginning. Wouldn't recognize any input on computer startup be it hdmi or display port. Would sometimes work if the computer and monitor were reatarted at the same time. I returned it and have had no issues with the LG that replaced it.

    When playing games on my Xbox, HDR and Freesync have to be turned off or monitor will go black every minute or so for a couple seconds! This monitor can not keep up with 4k on any level..The only way I got this monitor to run games like Halo or Cod, is to play in 1440p which defeats the purpose of buying a high dollar 4k monitor.

    worst monitor ive ever had. i have had nothing but problems with it and it comes with pointless roku knockoff. this is a smart tv not a monitor. after 2 months the screen just stopped working and now i have to mail it to samsung for repair

    Many connectivity issues when connected to HDMI 1, would not recognize inputs about 70% of the time. Blooming is BAD on bright images. Interface is horrible. Would not recommend.

    The monitor’s screw inlets to allow for mounting or being put on a stand are not even threaded. Opened up the monitor and couldn’t even use it because the monitor wouldn’t even accept screws.

    What an absolute overpriced piece of garbage. The displayport doesn’t even work so i could not hook up my pc. I should’ve done more research before I bought it because a lot of other people have had the same problem! Do not buy, it’s not worth it.

    Colors and Graphics Are Garbage

    The color and graphic settings are almost impossible to get correct. Then, when you think its good your change sources, programs or websites and its trash. I spend most of my time trying to get things to look right; at least 8 hours wasted so far. Ive calibrated through Windows and calibrated through the Samsung smart app...still garbage.

    Great for the first two weeks now get repeated error everytime I use it after a couple of mins: “Monitor mode.not.supported. Resolution not supported. Change the resolution of the external device.” (I would share photo of error but this Best Buy app won’t let me post photos!)

    Best buy website says that this model is FreeSync and G-sync compatible. It is not. G-sync (nvidia) only. Check the model number on Samsung website.

    Monitor has issues with display port. When clicking on second monitor it just disconnects. Have tried 2 cables, 1 that came with it, second i bought from amazon, both have the same issues. Second monitor has never disconnected from GPU.
