Picture quality was great. Looks like there is a power supply issue in mine. Was using solely for PS5. Vertical line appeared today after less than 30 days use. Now there's a vertical line in the picture. Even when no input cables are plugged in.

Not going to lie… I was pretty skeptical on purchasing this monitor due to the extensive amount of reviews and videos I’ve seen on it, but boy oh boy, I think I may have out done myself. It already came updated to the latest software out of box, and all I had to do was plug and play! HDR isn’t that great, could be better, but it doesn’t bother me as much. I honestly prefer to play with it off since SDR still looks as great! Gaming has never felt so better, and of course not all games on the PS5 run at 120hz, but this monitor is still beautiful all the way around. I’m happy with my decision, but I really can’t speak for everyone else. I would most def recommend this to my friends, rather their on PC or Console!

Had this monitor for a year. It was my first real deal monitor and I have 0 complaints. I went from a curved 1440 screen to this and i will never go with another monitor. This is my endgame monitor and when the times comes for another, I will stick with Samsung odyssey series. A++

I was in between buying the Samsung G7 & Gigabyte M28U. The G7 was on sale for $650 & Best Buy had an open box excellent condition for $608. The Gigabyte model is always sold out. I’ve been looking for a monitor that has HDMI 2.1 with support of 120hz refresh rate for PS5 specifically. It was between the 2 monitors. This monitor has been working great for me. No complaints other than the it doesn’t automatically switch between inputs when I turn on PC or PS5. I have enabled the “Auto Source Switch+“ but doesn’t switch. That would be only complaint. I updated the firmware as required in order to get 120hz unlocked for PS5. Works great and looks amazing on both PC & PS5. I can easily recommend this monitor.

Pictures fine. HDR rating is a joke. It only has like 9 dimming zones so wherever your mouse cursor is in a dark scene is always extra bright. Auto turn on does not work sometimes. Plugs are difficult to get to. The rgb is cool but still pretty mediocre. For the price I paid for it (400) its great but any more than that it aint worth it. Paying for a name.

I bought two of these and couldn’t be happier. I share these displays with a USB switcher and a Thunderbolt dock. I use my work laptop, personal laptop, gaming PC and steam deck with them. Picture in Picture is a great feature as well! I also left the shrouds off the back so the bias lighting is brighter.

Amazing Monitor at a Great Price! Previews in 4K at 144hz for you fellow gamers, and has so many options that preview the picture very bright and colorful, I would even say it matches to the level of a Neo QLED Samsung tv! However keep in mind that there may be Backlight Bleeding and if you see any please return the item at your earliest convenience (within the 15 day return policy). I believe that if you’re willing to almost spend a grand on a monitor, it’s best to return the product if you see any issues and receive one that is flawless. In my case I do have minimal backlight bleeding in which I’ll return and receive a new monitor within 60 days as per return policy for TotalTech Members.

Bought this monitor for my ps5. Freaking AWESOME!!! RGB lighting is a nice little touch as well. Mainly play Fortnite and CoD, looks and plays absolutely beautifully.

Let me start off by saying that I did have some issues with this monitor trying to get it to run 120 FPS on the PS5. I was only getting 30 Hz and 60 Hz as available frequencies @ 4k. I was not sure why this was happening because I had no issues with the Xbox series X running at 120 Hz @ 4k. After reading some other reviews on here I did the firmware update to the latest version and I connected the PS5 HDMI cable to input 1. I then changed the setting to AV and viola I was able to get the 120 Hz available @ 4k on the PS5. I began playing Devil May Cry 5 SE which looks phenomenal on here! My only complaint is that the RGB lighting could be a bit brighter, but other than that is is a great monitor for the price!

Was playing myXbox Series X on a 55” LG tv with HDMI 2.1. Picture quality was incredible, but I decided to change my set up and purchase this monitor. This thing actually exceeded my expectations. Built in LED lights are cool, but more often then not do not actually match with the color that’s on the display. Lights were also a bit too dim so I know use it without the light ring cover. Actually makes a huge positive difference. Totally recommend.

Good feature set, but poor quality control on these monitors. I ended up ordering 2 of these monitors. The first one came with very bad backlight bleed on the bottom left, top right, and far right center of the screen. The backlight bleed on the bottom left corner and upper left corner is a yellow tone. Watching any widescreen is very distracting with the backlight bleed. The second panel I received had almost no backlight bleed, but had a cluster of dead pixels on the top center area of the screen. The white uniformity on the monitor was also terrible, the right side of the monitor had a red tint, while the left side was more yellow. It's a bummer that a $650-$800 monitor comes with these quality control issues. It would be embarrassing to show to your friends that you paid the high price for the new monitor with such obvious defects. The 4k/144hz space is tough right now. The LG 27GP950 has great build quality and looks extremely slick with thin bezels. It also gets very bright, but it has black screen flickering/gsync issues. This monitor has all the features, an okay aesthetic, but awful quality control.

The Samsung - Odyssey G7 has more than impressed me since my purchase. Incredibly display, fluid FPS motion capture, and no screen tearing even playing on Ultra 4k. This will be with me for a while.

I love this monitor. Perfect upgrade for my new gaming set up. The 4k is beautiful for gaming and movies and the frame rate is great for my gaming needs. I also enjoy the colored lights in the front and back, really goes well with my set up theme. The one bad thing I have to say is that I could not for the life of me get the plastic part off the back that covers the light and where the stand goes in. I moved and needed to take the stand off but could not. My brother gave it a try too with no luck. Ending up moving with the stand still attached. Other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this monitor to play PS5 and Series X, and I'm tellin you buy it. The screen is a perfect size, the colors are nice and bright, the graphics are out of this world. There is no input lag, no dead pixels, I really have nothing negative to say. It's a great monitor at a great price, got it on sale for $579. It was either this or the m28u for me and I know i made a great choice with Samsung.

My favorite monitor, been using for 2 years and no need to upgrade as this hits all the check marks. Consider me impressed

I bought this in November 2022 and it’s now July 2023 and I have had no issues with this whatsoever. The picture and quality are really nice too!
