Unfortunately this is my 3rd Odyssey I’ve owned, and I figured this one would be just as good… I was wrong. It shuts off randomly, screen is way to dark even after being calibrated, on startup it can’t decide what resolution it wants to be and just shuts off. I don’t think I’ll be able to comfortably recommend this monitor…

Bright and vibrant. This monitor does what it says, 4k HDR at 144hz/FPS. I have a desktop with a Gigabyte 3070 Gaming OC (Overclocked) running to it, along with my Avermedia 4k60 PCIe capture card which feeds my PS5/XSX (via hdmi switcher) into the monitor. I also have my speakers running into the audio jack to catch audio from both my computer and PS5/XSX capture card. This monitor is beast. I love gaming on it, and my slightly faster 165hz 1440p monitor has been relegated to an OBS/chat viewer. Worth every bit of the $800+ after tax I paid.

I would’ve given 5 stars if there wasn’t just this one issue. It also isn’t an issue everyone would experience but my in-wall rated Audioquest HDMI cable (really thick and not very flexible) plugs in but the position of the port makes it so you cannot use the backplate cover provided to hide cables. To illustrate the cable plugs in vertically but the hole on backplate cover where cables would come out is also on top near the ports (see my photo of port area). Essentially requiring that you 180 degree turn the cable to go back towards the top and then out the cover. Now I want to clarify I absolutely love this monitor!! It’s only cause my expensive 8K/10K capable HDMI cable that this is an mild annoyance. For reassurance I’ve tested standard HDMI cable and it has absolutely no problems whatsoever installing and using that backplate cover to hide and manage the cables (power/HDMI/DP/USB).

Giving this monitor a 5 star rating. The picture is great, moves great. My only issue is flickering. Not sure how to fix it. It’s a distorted line down the middle of the screen that flickers and go away eventually. Sometimes affects my gameplay. Other than that, great. A little pricey for a smaller monitor but great graphic upgrade coming from AOC 32” FHD.

I absolutely love this monitor no issues what so ever .Runs games at 4k 120fps on games that support it and work just As well with my xbox series S no regrets or problems best purchase i have ever made.. Best Buy even priced mach my purchase thank you ... give this monitor a shot but before you do make sure the monitor firmware is up to date....

I love this monitor, I had a CRG9 previous to purchasing this, and because I wanted that 4k feel, this was an amazing upgrade. I plan on getting one more to use dual monitors.

When I first used this one it looks amazing but I quickly noticed the black light bleeding at the bottom of the screen and couldn’t unsee it. Had to return it.

High quality monitor for responsive console gaming

The mount for the tv is too high. Will recommend everyone to get a monitor mount since the height of the monitor + the mount is actually higher than my pc tower. The quality and picture wise are on point.

This is an incredible monitor for use with the PS5 and Xbox Series X with 4K 120Hz games like Warzone. In order to get the monitor to display properly with PS5 and Xbox you have to set the “PC/AV Mode” under “Settings” to “AV” instead of “PC” for the HDMI ports you will use for consoles.

This monitor is worth at 799 but never miss out when its on sale . I have a ps5 and this monitor is so amazing when playing on 4k 60 and on some 4k 120 but when it comes to pc oh it will do wonsers . 10/10

Beautiful monitor! It has great colors and contrast and just overall blew me away! Had a little bit of ips glow but if you can overlook that I would say this is your best bet when it comes to a good 4K 144hz monitor without breaking the bank. I show a photo displaying the ips glow where it is apparent in the bottom corners. It isn’t NEAAARRRR as noticeable in person as it is on camera

Bought this for my PS5 for the HDMI 2.1 capacity. Very happy with gaming experience. 4k looks great, hdr is just ok but most monitors hdr isn’t top notch like TV. The overall picture is great, perfect for gaming on the PC in 4k at max 144 refresh rate.

Picture looks good Build quality good But Samsung has a problem with not properly putting on the panels so if ur lucky enough to get one properly on. I was not so lucky and now I can see some backlight bleed when looking at dark images. Also monitor will occasionally go black for a couple seconds, not sure if this is actually quality. Could be the monitor auto looking for a source when launching fullscreen applications. All in all, if ur scared of getting a bad panel I do not recommend. You might be better of going with an LG or ASUS.

Pros: The visuals are incredible. I've never seen a nicer IPS display and the design is really nice. The stand is not as intrusive as some reviews say and vastly improved over the 2k 240hz model. Cons: Maybe it's just a few of us but the quality control on this product is horrid. 1st had dead pixel 2nd had terrible bleed through 3rd had major and distracting flashlighting from the bottom 4th I didn't even bother to open it I just returned it. It doesn't play well with HDR on Windows but that's a Windows thing. Might only really be an issue for games though. If you have monitors of different resolutions then alt tabbing from games will turn off and on the screen for a second before it fully swaps and with elden ring occasionally doesn't actually Alt tab but that might be elden ring more so anything else. Either way it's kind of annoying. Local dimming is interesting. If there are any visuals on the zone anywhere it will light up the whole zone. On an IPS monitor it's very obvious where that zone is. Test it on a black YouTube video or pausing Netflix on 0:00 and run your mouse across the screen. You will notice that the wide vertical dimming zone will follow the mouse. Kinda weird looking so I never use that feature. If you're lucky then this monitor is noice. If you're like me and get really unlucky with electronics then make sure you're okay having some less than perfect panel lottery. :) Uploaded photos are taken of the screen for reference. Left screen is 28" G7(G70A) and right is 27" G7. Personally I liked the G7 better. Only needed one and the picture and color quality barely needed touch-up after first plugging it in. G70A is a bit green at first haha

Nice compliment to my PS5! This monitor looks clear when playing games on the PS5. The 4K is amazing and the refresh rate is quick. Bought it at a nice sale price too.

Samsungs odyssey line of monitors do not disappoint. The quility of not only the display but the build is amazing. For the price, this is a great choice for 4K gaming.

After owning it for a few months now i have to say it was worth the purchase! I havent been abke to update it yet, but just out of the box it comes with so many neat little features. It has such a wonderful resolution and i keep the brightness down as low as i can since i often play a lot in the dark. My favorite feature is the dynamic lighting. It reacts to what game you are playing. I havent experienced any studders, HDR works great, and i would highly recommend. If i dont end up getting a 32" curve as my 2nd monitor, i may likely get another one of these to use as my pc/chat screen since you can turn it vertically!

This thing is a beast!!! This being a 4K gaming monitor says it all!! The colors, HDR, refresh rate, etc…a monster and just the right size. Not too big and not too small. Highly recommended!
